  1. Yeah I've run multiple virus scans, no problems found. I can stay on C&G and my other favorites all day and I have no issues, it is only when I go into Facebook. I'm stumped.
  2. I have not been able to get into my Facebook account for more than a few minutes for over a week. It will not load past the first two posts. It then times out and drags my whole PC to a halt, kicking me off the internet entirely, requiring a restart. I can get into all my other favorites perfectly fine. I discovered at first when it was shutting down my internet, the Windows troubleshooter was telling me my PC is trying to connect to a DNS server that does not exist, or is incorrect, but I believe that is only when trying to access my Facebook account. Can anyone help me out with this? TIA.
  3. Saw my first 2019 Colorado with the "CHEVROLET" grille, an orange Z71 extended cab at a local dealer. I have to say it looks great, the mesh itself is gloss black, with the word spelled out in a textured band, and the lettering has a different, fine rectangular gloss mesh. Very detailed and cool. Test drove it. LOVE IT. The 8-speed shifts sooo smooth. Giant chip in paint down to bare metal at bottom center edge of passenger door knocked the grin off my face, must have happened inside the dealer's shop on their lift when they were prepping it, like the door was opened against the lift. We'll see.
  4. Jacket? Is that YOU? What're you doing? Shadow Gray, reminds me of the Stealth Gray on my '07 Sierra, it was a popular color back then. And I like it now. What is more daunting than ever is the mighty high MSRP of all new trucks.
  5. Encouraging development: regular cab new Silverado is now included in the retail section of the online order guide. Before, regular cabs were only in the "fleet" section. Which means, hopefully, that individuals can actually buy them without trying to find a dealer who will gray market them to retail customers.
  6. Local Enterprise Rental kid came in to collect keys of cars returned by customers. He was fully stoked because he said he was renting... himself... a... Nissan... Altima... for the weekend. In other news, the de-nutting of the American male continues.
  7. One of those Z71 Trailrunners might be cool.
  8. Been having trouble getting online last few days. Happy B-day! (in case you don't have your glasses handy!)
  9. Well I've never seen a RC 5.5' bed, it has always been 6.5'. The 5.5' is only on the CC. Too short. It's like the human space is horning in on the cargo space. Which leads me to this - CAFE has made cars crappy. So naturally ppl want roomy comfortable vehicles, they've moved to pickups and SUVs. For that reason alone CAFE is a failed policy.
  10. Not even Custom, they've disassociated themselves with their shortbed/regular cab sport truck/Z71 customers entirely. This time around, as far as I can tell, regular cab is strictly WT long bed only. Funny that #1 truck maker Ford still takes the time to cover all the bases, by continuing to offer a regular cab 6.5' bed in XL (with Sport and Chrome packages available) and XLT trims for 2019. I also recently saw a few Supercab long bed F-150's at the local dealer... another variation missing from GM's offerings.
  11. You heard it folks! An admission of abnormality re: electrics!
  12. Well the regular cab can be seen in the "commercial" section of Chevy's website under 2019 vehicle models. There is only a diagram of it showing measurements, and it states "late availability" and that the regular cab "is a long bed". At this point if I insist on a regular cab, it would, by necessity, be a WT with chrome package and long bed.
  13. So the new style regular cab is being built in Mexico starting in January... hmmm...
  14. Ohhh... so you mean people who drive Suburbans, Escalades, and V8 Trailblazers? You have no leg to stand on. You prefer to talk the talk while failing to walk the walk. Again, a government mandate does not make a desirable automobile.
  15. In the sense that there is no sensory value in it, I do not doubt it one single bit.
  16. Caught off guard on what, exactly? Government mandates can only go so far. Forcing the public at large to contribute, through tax breaks, to the failed attempt to get people to change their minds on electrics can (and has gone) only so far. There simply is not enough interest in the concept to keep it going. When are these governments going to listen to the people they supposedly represent?
  17. dfelt is like the Oprah of C&G... EVERY POST GETS AN EV! YOU GET AN EV, AND YOU GET AN EV... EVERYBODY GETS AN EV!
  18. Doesn't it alarm anyone else that GM is making BIG profits selling vehicles that people WANT to spend their money on (trucks and SUV's) so they can put R&D money into building (pathetic, electrified COMPLIANCE) vehicles that people have demonstrated time and time again that they DO NOT want? HOW is this good for the corporation's future once the desirable stuff is priced (or legislated) out of reach of the customers they have today? They will have NO customers! Stupidest thing I've ever heard. You're such a goof OMG, you crack me up! Look at you crammed in the back of that Bolt!
  19. Truck buyers, real ones, are too smart to let Toyota tick any further upward. They are some of the last remaining loyal American vehicle buyers, and for that, this country could learn a lesson or two. Buy American!
  20. How about this brown Custom?
  21. So nice and it's got work steps
  22. It is hard enough to find one that is not chopped, channeled, or otherwise distastefully customized. But to rip out its heart and drop in a soulless, whirring robot in its place is... unconscionable.
  23. These guys have a lot of fun. I agree with Andre.
