  1. Don't wreck it. We've had one in the shop for 2 months with 500 miles on it, waiting for the right side rear outboard seat bolster, containing an airbag. Came from Korea. Box has Hyundai on it. And... we got FOUR in the box when we only needed one. Luckily we had a Verano in loaner service to give the customer. I am hoping they get it finished this week while I'm on vacation and back to the customer.
  2. This is not a new development. I see no harm in it.
  3. The opera windows lend a stunning sophistication to the overall design.
  4. Each order status has a number code. I think 3000 means it is a buildable combination, but it has not been put in sequence yet.
  5. Order status 3000 - "accepted by production control".
  6. Does everyone feel the LOVE?
  7. Yup, I guess you're right. And time does fly!
  8. Yes sir, I did have one, for far too short a time. And thanks! He said 8 weeks. But I got my order number today, quicker than a lot of other guys over on the Colorado/Canyon forums. Psyched!
  9. Whoa, frosty! Cool man! Yeah, it seems to be a good all around choice, the Cyber Gray.
  10. I think for long term growth, reliability will be key. If the new Cherokee and Renegade hold up, then ppl will want another.
  11. Thanks all. I had a green WT all built in my head with a bunch of options. Ended up being about $400 cheaper than the LT I ordered. I figured I could have a nicer overall truck if I forgot about the spray-in liner ($475), wheel flares ($370) and green paint (priced at $475). I actually ordered Laser Blue, after repeated assurances by my salesdude that the restriction (noted on the Chevy Build & Price site) had been lifted on that color... then as I was pulling in to my garage coming home from ordering and giving them a deposit, he called and said when they actually went in to order the truck, the restriction is still on for at least another month. I had two choices, wait or change the color. The green, blue or gray were always my favorite colors on this truck, so I am not bummed in the end. Having driven one, I can say this is far and away the best "small" truck GM has ever built. They discounted the price from $32,520 to $31,300, and they're giving me $1100 more than I currently owe on the VW. I'm excited to be "coming home" to GM!
  12. I am chuckling at the "painted on", short sidewall all-terrain tires. Who would dare go 4-wheeling with those?
  13. Yes, it is a sweet little car. It will be for sale or trade, if anyone is interested.
  14. 2015 GMC Canyon SLT crewcab longbed 4X4 at the local dealer, black on black. $38k MSRP. Jawdropper. I cannot imagine how the Denali will be nicer!
  15. That is a gorgeous truck there! I am not a fan of giant rims though, to me there are too many negatives. Initial expense, extra maintenance expense, fear of expensive damage, steamroller traction, and a harder ride. Just my opinion, everybody has one, right?
  16. Just woke up from a long winter's nap to realize I fell short in my dooties. It's DECEMBER! Please post your chill vehicle spots right here!
  17. Hopefully everything's running smooth for you these days. Have a good one sir.
  18. Well if it's another $3k higher than the 3.6, I could not justify it.
  19. Today I went and factory ordered a pickup truck. 2015 Chevy Colorado LT extended cab 4X4 Cyber Gray/Jet Black cloth interior 3.6L V6 Convenience Package (remote start, rear defogger, EZ-lift tailgate, foglamps) G80 Locker Trailering package (a forced bundle with the G80 rear end) $32,520 MSRP. Salesdude says he will email me an order number as soon as he gets it, so I can track its progress through GM's system. I'll post updates along the way, in case anyone's interested.
  20. Yeah, a six speed manual transmission across the model line would do even more to entice me.
  21. Since when has BMW been worried at all about reliability on any of their products?
  22. I am sure there's no quicker way to play 18 holes.
  23. "Benefit"? What are they smoking over there? N00bs.
  24. So they're miniaturizing the lineup, while making the cars bigger. Makes so much sense.
