    Sting Operation

Here's a red button O to push to see the pictures.
  3. An armada of Mazda Miadas... one stood out, an early model with chrome material on all panel edges, Pep Boys fender vents and wire wheel covers with chrome cones in the center. Also, an early Citation 4-door in the ubiquitous gold colour in good shape And I walked up to a new white Sonic sedan in the Lowe's parking lot to check it out just as the lights flashed and the doors unlocked, so I geeked with the nerd, asking how he liked it and pointed out my car up the line. He said he liked his Sonic.

    Sting Operation

Yeahbut... it's not named after the Hudson, it's named after the Rambler, which was named after the Hudson... Maybe we need a picture thread of Hudson Hornets.

That new Dodge Hornet isn't bad looking in the murky, telephoto world of spyshots, even as it has no eyes. Hopefully dynamic driving fun, economy, reliability and coolness are part of the buzz surrounding this new small Dodge. OH... and a 2-door hatch or coupe as well.

  8. I found the interiors on the GMT355 to be made of more durable materials than my S-10s.

    Honda in decline

Saw a new-style gray EX coupe parked along the street yesterday while walking. It really is not proportioned well, very ungainly looking.
  11. Needs a regular cab, too, not just extended and crew, for work fleets and sport truck customers.
  12. Cool pics! I'd like to try this sometime, see how many cones I can drag under the Cruze before it chokes out the 1.4t.
  13. I wonder if this paltry colour palette (both here and on Sonic) has anything to do with Japon's disaster.

  15. Dopey, geeked-out eek-assist, but otherwise worthy.
  16. It needs to be partially disassembled to get a thorough estimate of the damages. Start there and keep an open mind.
  17. Hinges are stainless steel... rust-proof.
  18. Have a good one... take a nice drive, that usually helps change perspective.
  19. It is old news, but still cool to read. Even though in real world use almost nobody is getting the advertised mileage.
  20. What is it with all these blu cars? Today in separate sightings I saw a late 70's Corolla 2-door... blue, in perfect condition, and an early 80's Corolla 2-door with hidden headlights... blue, in perfect condition. Both driven by Latin guys... they love those tiny old Japanese cars.
  21. the motor appears to have a flat head

  23. OH... forgot to mention, I pulled up behind an early Porsche 928 in light blue at a red light. Two kids in back seat playing with the rear sunvisors... car was in perfect condition.
  24. Ninnymobile. Flat out.
  25. If my math is accurate, I divided 38.9 into 36.85 (indicated and actual MPG for this tank), it seems the DIC is 5% optimistic. If I take 95% of 47.8, I get 45.4 actual MPG on the trip back from the beach. None too shabby, and still into TDI and Prius territory. The 36.85 MPG tank figures to 39% highway/61% urban driving. If the time was right, I'd love to see what this thing'll do running a full tank out on the highway, heading south to a warm destination with palm trees laden with coconuts lining the beach (that's symbolism).
