  1. That blue Corsa is pretty snazzy.
  2. Hmmm... uh, Camino, let me get back to you on that...
  3. I like them both. The Cobalt's body lines are cool, they remind me, if I squint almost to the point of closing my eyes, of the Silverado's lines. The front is an infant Equinox. The dash and interior appear more mature than the Sonic's (I really like the dashboard and unique steering wheel trim). I have to remember, when comparing these two, that the Cobalt is a "concept", while these photos are of the production Sonic... we did lose a bit when Sonic got productionized, it'll prolly be the same for Cobalt. Overall, the Cobalt reminds me of a very tiny (outgoing) Malibu, in that it's reserved and classy, while the Sonic is more rough-and-ready. Which would I choose? It would honestly depend on the day of the week and/or the mood I'm in.
  4. I want to see one of these monkeys in the metal to compare it to what I've got.
  5. 67impss... yup it is.

    Cadillac died!

Nope, you're not the only one that noticed, Mr. Hudson. We had a thread here lamenting it a few weeks back. Some Italian dude bought the last one off the line.
  7. I think the 1960 Pontiac was the best looking GM car that year... soooo clean.
  8. Link to the Spark 9C1, coming in 2014.
  9. Cool Mr. Decker! Mine was a red/red/black top '66, non-SS with 283/PG. I only kept it a short while and never registered it, drove it up and down the country roads a bit, tinkered on it, but ultimately realized it was too much of a project for me and sold it. I hope your story is more positive, best of luck with it.

    PINGAS

Why he got his balls on his chin?
  12. Be cool to get it mechanically fit, clean it up, and bomb around in it as is for a while. The seats are gross, however.
  13. "Number 1 For A Reason"
  14. Fake Japanese humility if I ever heard it.
  15. It is also possible that people who own an older S-10 Blazer or Jimmy are more likely to do their own repairs to keep them on the road than some other makes of SUVs, hence, when they need something fixed, they head to the auto parts store instead of the dealership or independent garage.
  16. Ohhhh yes... the Porsche flat 6 is one of the most advanced engines in the world because it has valves, liters and water cooling. Corvette SBCs used to have carburetors, points and condensers, etc. etc. Please don't be ridiculous.
  17. I was alive when the Mercury Marine-built 32V DOHC ZR-1 Corvette came and went. If it was something wanted by Corvette buyers, Chevrolet would have engineered their own DOHC engine (to bring the cost down) to put into all Corvettes from that time forward. But Corvette buyers preferred the better OHV, pushrod, cam-in-block design. And hence it survives and thrives. Would we have Porsche dump their flat-6 for America, just because we're more used to V engines? Poppycock, I say. A huge part of what makes a Corvette a Corvette is its legendary, peerless engine. I'm proud of it.
  18. Well DUH (I was going to say that in bright red, but thought it would be too garish a colour in a Rolls-Royce thread.)
  19. No joke, papi.
  20. It does look good, I never clicked on the link before. It's gotta be a chop I guess, but it looks professionally done and totally believable.
  21. In the past, I have spoken to them when spent firecrackers (still could be on fire) rained on my roof, deck and yard that they set off in the street in front of my house (they have a pretty big tree curbside in front of theirs). I've spoken to them when their kid and a small posse used my yard as a play area and a pass-thru to the cornfield behind us. I've been about as noisy as a freakin' mouse the 8 years I've lived here. I cannot say the same for the 6 years they've been. I don't want to be seen as the cause of any kind of escalation. I just want quiet in my own home. EDIT: Man oh man, if I had giant speakers, Rita Moreno would be blasting at ELEVEN.
  22. I wonder if the belt was installed correctly. Could it be out of time?
  23. I've seen a few around these parts, and it's always like a robot jackrabbit from spaaace jumping out of the bushes... a shock to the system. I still think they're cool, but ppl's real world fuel mileage has been abysmal for the size, from what I've read.
  24. Dude is Puerto Rican. I have no speakers to match his.
