Fairly wicked.

At Christmas time I saw a young cousin of mine, she recently graduated college and has taken a job as a teacher. We got to talking about vehicles, and she said she wanted to get a new car... a Highlander Hybrid. She has a mid-90's Camry now, handed down to her from her parents. They also have a Sienna and an '05 Camry that we just finished repairing today after my aunt had an accident. I went to pick up her dad, my uncle, so he could take the Camry, and he mentioned that she has factory ordered a 2010 Equinox in Mocha Steel with chrome package and the brown leather interior. I knew she was a smart kid. Now I'd like to see her parents trade up to GM next time around.

I'm sorry, z. That kind of stuff really chafes my nerves. You should see some of the vehicles that are driven in to our shop by customers who were told they could be driven by police officers who were too lazy to fill out the extra paperwork for vehicles that require towing. I hope it is fixed right the first time, and soon. Looks like an air intake resonator on your front floor, there. And I'd insist on a front end alignment, as well.

I went in to the camp office to buy a bottle of Gatorade on Saturday and there was a guy checking in. They always ask what kind of car the camper has. When he said "Toyota", there was a pregnant pause, the employee said "Oh, really?", and, sensing an ambush, the camper said "I have three of them!" The camp employee quipped "Do they all stop?" and it degenerated from there, the camper saying he's never had a problem, blah blah blah, and the camp employee repeatedly sarcastically replying "Oh really? That's nice". The last thing the camper said as he exited the office was "I'd buy another one!" I was cracking up inside and wanted to pile on, but I kept my mouth shut.
