  1. The original? "Lagonda was founded in 1899".
  2. Heh, Tate in Annapolis always has at least 20 on the lot.
  3. Poppycock, Satty, when is the last time a stripped Mini has been seen on a lot anywhere? They're all tarted up with those expensive options and packages. Once again, I love the Mini, but comparing a Mini to a Cobalt is pointless, as they are not in the same class. The C30 and GTI are the only cars I'd compare it to, at least here in the US.
  4. Yup, as soon as I saw it I thought "Imperial". Bleh.

  6. So then you went through with that operation? Jodie Foster loves carpet.
  7. clearly
  8. I will guess Euro Ford Escort XR3.
  9. I understand PCS is armless from his GXP. He types with his goatee.
  10. This argument is stupid. The Cobalt and the Mini do not compete with each other. The Mini is much more expensive.
  11. I'm ready for daffy dils myself.
  12. Perhaps I need a baby boy of my own... but he has to be over 21.:AH-HA_wink:
  13. "Keys to what?" Duh, the gate.
  14. I think that crappy L-series did nothing to help them. I'll go with L-series as the Beginning of the End.

  20. The Mk II and III Jettas had trunks for MILES. Not sure how the IV and V stack up.
  21. RASPBERRY
  22. "ASC", is that as in American Sunroof Corporation? If so, I love it. They might have the wherewithal to pull this off.
  23. Anyway, you love your car, good luck in getting it back on the road.
  24. Dodgefan, the only way the ratios change is if the transaxle is changed, or at the very least if the internals are swapped out of the case. Perhaps the guy did a full engine/trans swap. As far as 3.66 v. 3.89, the lower the number, the slower the engine spins, therefore pointing toward better fuel mileage. A higher number will give better torque multiplication and better off the line power, but will make the engine spin faster at a given speed, pointing toward worse fuel mileage.
  25. Yellowtail Cabernet-Merlot is what I have in the fridge right now.
