I understand the water's starting to fall back now. Hopefully the worst of the flooding is over... now comes the fun part, cleaning up all that mess. Just from the narrow focus of a car enthusiast's viewpoint, think of how many vehicles that will need to be junked (a VERY minor detail right now, I'm sure, for the residents).

Hopefully it will be like so many other designs we've critiqued from grainy spy photos and it will turn out better than we think. If this 1.4L turbo engine is really all that and a bag of chips like Borger says, and if that interior shot is accurate, this "thing" (since we don't know what to call it yet) just might wash all the bad, old Daewoo out of our memories. At least it darn well better. Right now though, the exterior shots indicate a willingness at GM to once again relinquish their rightful place as design leaders... as it appears this is GM Design emulating the Korean brands... a ridiculously sad prospect.

Holy heck, that's a crazy title you guys bestowed upon me. I'm going to have to live up to it now, so watch out! :AH-HA_wink:

Yeah, for years, Ford trucks have had a nicer color selection than GM trucks. Some of Ford's greens and variations on brown/bronze really look good.

Hey Nut, speaking of the Galaxie, I saw a '73 Cutlass four door with the roof chopped off parked next to a gas station in Ocean City (I think it was at the Wine Rack/Exxon station) when I was down there. Poor thing sat out overnight in a thunderstorm. It had a "For Sale" sign on it.

Well I am nobody's "god", it's just a bit of an insult after sticking around here and trying to contribute something to the site for so long. That's all.
