  1. Happy Birthday, Mr. City of Angels.
  2. Contour no kidding, yesterday, I spotted a pristine, red metallic Contour SVT with portholes tacked on

    Should I?

Yeah, the blue will be quite the sweet car, and in GXP form... totally hot, a Blue Flame, if you will.
  4. Very sweet truck, z. But then you could have expected me to say that, it being a shortbed reg cab and all. I liked my '02 Base Plus 4.8L Silvy a lot, I put a Tahoe grille in it (more chrome), billet bowtie, Gibson exhaust, debadged it, put Michelin LTX tires on, an Escalade instrument cluster, and a GMC Sierra seat with the nicer cloth and center armrest. It was a huge mistake for me to trade it on a stupid '03 ION Quad Coupe, but I wanted to save money on vehicle expenses, with a new mortgage, etc. A valid reason, but the wrong car. Geez, enough blathering. I would say go for it, there aren't too many of these trucks around in such beautiful shape. And lose the pinstripes.
  5. Yes, why is this bit in the Chevy Trucks section?
  6. SS623, that is one honey of a Malibu. I love that.
  7. F-1 weak tornado or old Ford truck?
  8. Oh moltie, don't get me started on the '78-'81s. I love them. Today, we had a '78 Monte Carlo in the shop (we redid the guy's '63 Impala last year), he had a scratch in the door. Metallic red with white buckets/red carpet/white landau top... and T-TOPS! It has been redone. Dude says it will run 11's in the quarter, and after listening to the healthy engine, I'd say maybe he embellishes a little, but not much.
  9. The Dodge Journey is a handsome vehicle in and out, imo. I think it has the nicest interior of the new Dodges, love the center console, the shifter placement, the storage cubbies, the slant of the dash, and the retro instrument binnacle. The exterior is sharp, yet conservative. Plus, it hits a sweet spot, size-wise, between the icky, tiny new VUE (with AmphiCar front end) and the big Edge. At least test drive an SXT or R/T with the 3.5L before dismissing it. Love the green color on the Journey. Check Edmunds owner reviews of the Journey.
  10. I like the '64-'65 coupes, they remind me a bit of the '55s. I think I read somewhere that the '64 Chevelle was sized pretty close to the '55 Chevy. I prefer the '65's grille to the flat-faced '64, though.
  11. static electricity
  12. Looks good so far. I hope that's not another disastrous sunroof. Maybe just the front section opens.
  13. I hope you guys have a great day. Enjoy yourselves.
  14. I picked Edge for reasons already posted above by others.
  15. Lovely lad. That treasure trail... yeah, nice.

    Should I?

    Kaycee, yes. Yes. YES!
  17. You can get a collar for that problem, Enzora. Or powder, they make powder to kill fleas. Just trying to help, man.
  18. Hey Lamar, could you sing solo for us? :AH-HA_wink: I grew up around smokers, all of whom have quit. I cannot stand to go into a smoke-filled bar, my eyes get all teary and red, bleh, horrible. I do not understand the appeal. I took about 3 puffs off a cigarette once, and I've taken a few off some cigars. The taste was ridiculously disgusting. And "alternative tobacco" is truly a powerful aphrodisiac. I haven't done that in like 4 years.

  20. Whoa, that's wild, and in the full-on frontal view, it really looks like it has spider eyeballs, lookin' at ya.
  21. Oh that's a fairly nice Typhoon I guess. :AH-HA_wink: Interesting they'd be named Syclone and Typhoon, as well. Both are weather events... like Tempest and Torrent. Another example of Pontiac and GMC's close siblinghood?
  22. Ahh, beautiful car. I think I'd prefer a smallblock in something like this, though. It would make a sublime cruiser.
  23. bluegrass man, I was waaay out of sync with my "Jackson" reply, it was in response to "10's"
  24. It would not occur to me to cheat, and I'd expect the same out of a partner.
  25. Jackson
