  1. Holden was making several things we were supposed to get - but didn't.
  2. An entirely absurd (and incorrect) statement.
  3. Thanks CMG. I never even thought to scan the note, maybe I will.
  4. Love the proportions, the shaping and bodylines, the materials, the size, the detailing, the heritage cues - nearly the entire package. The nose is the only major design problem I have with it, it's almost there but seems unfinished and somewhat tacked-on. The back is pure perfection. And, it is so nice to see curves in the shaping of the fenders again. I have no idea where Hyper thinks he sees a slab-sided look. Long, sleek, and very Cadillac. Bravo.
  5. Governments are money-grubbing entities by nature, moreso now than they used to be. PA used to just accept that the reported price of a used car would be low, now they insist on book value unless buyer and seller can explain the price and swear to it on a separate form.
  6. Cool with a t-storm here this morning.
  7. Glad to hear it!
  8. Quite the odd assortment.
  9. Wow! How'd I miss this one? Happy belated, TJ! Hope you had a great day.
  10. He insisted on bringing this one to my back door too... When he does this, you can really see just how close to a wolf he really is.
  11. He got another one this morning...
  12. Take a deep breath, slow down, and try to lose the sense of urgency. Let this happen as slowly as it can and distract yourself from it for a while. Then just consider the options after you get your bearings.
  13. I'm really liking the 'Cuda!
  14. That just sucks! Tell us the story when you are ready. Hope the pain eases quickly.
  15. Amen to that. This is the car that proves electric doesn't have to be ugly. The Volt could have if it looked like the concept, and I get why it doesn't, but this one should come to market with its style intact. That is what will sell it.
  16. Good move. Keep the name - or at least give it a real one rather than 3 letters.
  17. That was something I never expected to see! Pretty cool.
  18. Score!
  19. Safety, or more accurately the illusion of safety, is so over-valued in this society. Makes me want to puke.
  20. If they really wanted to do something to increase safety - they should mandate that stainless steel be used for all brake lines. That, at least, would have a real effect.
  21. You nailed it Samadei! NHTSA is just looking to justify its existence, throwing its weight around. The roadblocks to normal commerce that agencies like NHTSA create is counter-productive. We'd be better-off without them.
  22. I like this project - nice going!
  23. The safety-nazis need to take a big step back and shut up for a while.
  24. Abuse of power, plain and simple.
  25. A double-edged sword. While I have been screaming for the more variants per platform approach for years, I hope that the reduction in drivetrains and platforms doesn't hamper variety.
