  1. Which could have been anytime on or after January 2 of the 2006 calendar year.
  2. And Pontiac and Saturn had it in 2005. As a matter of fact, Isuzu :o had it in 2004. BTW, the Lexus V8 engine is now in their trucks (Tundra and Sequoia), albeit without direct injection. And yet you kvetch about Cadillac sharing Chevrolet engines. Oh, and the self-parking system, by many accounts, is slower than that of Ford. FORD!
  3. I had a student a couple of years ago that was the same way.
  4. I like that skyline.
  5. Emphasized for truth. And I'll answer that last one. "Because BMW has that mesmerizing little roundel on the hood, trunk, center caps, and steering wheel, so everything they do is good and perfect."
  6. Scroll down to the Jalopnik comments. The defendant posted pics of his tails.
  7. 2001 - Getting ready to graduate HS or starting my freshman year of college. I would go check the build date, but it's late.
  8. Either that or they're trying to drum up business for the companies that make starters.
  9. Saw a new 528i in a parking garage yesterday. I was on the clock, so I couldn't get a good look at it like I usually would have. I still haven't decided if I like it better than the E60 or not, but it still doesn't match the pre-Bangle E39.
  10. Funny, but when we were getting ready to move down here to GA, everyone warned me about the heat (like I didn't already know ). Now, everyone in MD is getting worse heat than we've had over the last week.
  11. Porsche 911 Turbo S, this afternoon. Silver.
  12. Mercedes-Benz's own website says and shows otherwise. Only interior option you can get on the S600/S65 that isn't available on the S400 is the upgraded leather. AMG upgrades on the S65 are, well, obvious. Also, about the percentages... The ZR1 is 218% the price of the base Corvette coupe. The S65 AMG is 228% the price of the S400 Hybrid. Then why are you arguing (incorrectly) about differences in interiors?
  13. I imagine that 6.2 wouldn't be the only displacement available for the car engines? (5.5L is still the number I see thrown around the most)
  14. CTS-V (not sure if sedan or wagon) Charger SRT8 Expedition (I've been really missing my SUV lately)
  15. Guyana and Suriname.
  16. Here's something trippy. The Bahamas drives on the left but has LHD cars, most of which are imported from the Americas. ... a lot of them are old classics, too!
  17. I've never driven a manual. Never had the chance. My dad traded in his 5-spd Subaru GL back in '91, which was seven years before I could even get a permit. One day, I'm gonna buy an old beater and learn, just to say that I can. And to open up the door for performance heaven in the future. However, my wife refuses to learn how to drive stick properly, even though she has driven one before with someone when she was a teenager. And promptly burned the clutch. Strangely though, in the past two years I've met two people who claim they don't know how to drive automatic. One of them was from Russia and the other has only ever driven stick.
  18. Plain and simple.
  19. THIS, completely. And sadly.
  20. Wouldn't that be the hottest?

    *sigh*

That sucks. I wondered if you were burglarized by a crackhead or an out-of-work mechanic...
  22. Yeah, I was thinking "Lacrosse-V" when I saw it.
  23. We understand each other's pain, then. I'm just glad that I don't live on the Southside... can't imagine having to cross the water and THEN make my way up 64 and 95.

    Mother May I?

Seen a couple of LaCrosses recently... oh, and my first MKT on the road. And, sadly, a whole slew of Crosstours. No accounting for taste, I guess.
  25. Baltimore, MD to Newport News, VA: 8 hours. Completely due to traffic... otherwise, it's 3 1/2.
