  1. Getting ready to put some $2.91 into the Bonneville before I head to class.
  2. Greatest thread ever. Not because of the topic, but because you guys made it so.
  3. Saw probably my 3rd Genesis in the wild today. A perfectly nondescript car. Looks like everything and therefore looks like nothing. Also, I saw a Plymouth (or was it Chrysler?) Prowler the other day on my way to class.
  4. You guys are nuts. That said, for $23K a Camaro doesn't seem half bad. There's a gentleman at my church who was thinking about one... I'll let him know the prices next time I see him. I'd get one in a few years... if we weren't planning on having kids by then.
  5. Depends on volume. Anyone know how many of these will be cranked out?
  6. Jetta TDI Sportwagen FTW. With the way oil has been dropping, it seems that VW was ahead of the curve on the relaunch of the TDI vehicles. Touareg, Tiguan, and Rabbit are up next IIRC. I think the USA doesn't want to get caught with low-MPG cars again like we were this summer, so let's see if the general market gets a little more sensible in its preferences. Oh yeah, and
  7. I have "Again I Say Rejoice" by Israel and New Breed. I have three others ("Linus and Lucy," "Doing It To Death" by James Brown, and "Lately" by Tyrese) but for some reason they don't work too well with my phone.

    PS2 Issue

Maybe there's a short in the power supply somewhere.
  9. Lateral move at best... LX can't support a 6A, Zeta can't be AWD (I think).

    Close call

Well-conceived, but crappily executed, I think.
  11. It's ok, man. We'll allow it here.
  12. Keep her, FOG. She knows her cars (or reasonable facsimiles thereof).

    2009 Toyota Avensis

    The Sebring perhaps?
  14. Strangely, near me there's a Chevy-Buick dealer on one side of the street, and a Cadillac-Pontiac-GMC dealer on the other side of the street. Different owners, of course. If there were any space nearby, THAT could be a huge superstore. Sort of like the Carr one in the picture, but Chevy could have its own wing opposite Cadillac. Anyway, as long as they're done well and aren't too visually displeasing, I have no problems. Though for some strange reason I like how the Caddy place was set apart from the "commoners."
  15. Know what "nova" really means in Spanish? "Nova." Same as English. You've lost your right to post in this thread.

  17. That sounds pretty close. I got the KS off of eBay for about $50... got an OBD-II scanner for maybe $35-40... had to then buy the right ratchet extension (because the evil Nissan designers put the KS in the V of the engine ) for about $9... ... still better than $300 for the part and $400something for labor. The shop was going to gouge me on the part plus 4 hours for labor which included removing the intake manifold.

    This.
  19. Pues, la lengua es parecida, pero la ascendencia puede ser diferente debido a la invasión de España por los moros entre 711 y 1492. Por eso muchos españoles tien tez más oscura que la del resto de Europa. Oh, y "cuñada."
  20. Gotcha. I ask because I have it on good authority that many Argentinians identify more as European than Latin American. Also, I find Rioplatense Spanish quite strange.
  21. Just got another one to add... I finally changed the knock sensor on the Maxima. Power is back; fuel economy will be observed over the course of a few days. And it didn't cost me nearly the $800 that the shop was quoting me. Are we positive enough yet, Sly?

    MLB Playoffs

Usually every year something weird happens that reinforces the belief that the Cubs are "cursed." Not this year. We'll just call them the "Choke-ago" Cubs after this series.
  23. Out of curiosity... you're actually from Argentina?
  24. Yeah, why is that? Anyway, to answer the post... a Rambler station wagon yesterday at Autozone. I couldn't tell you which model it was, however.
