  1. Makes sense, but when they're one of the very few companies who still manufactures a 5A as their best automatic transmission, it puts them behind a little bit. Speaking of getting as much out as they can, isn't there a 5A available in all their models except the S2000?

It doesn't need garnish to be gourmet. And I hate Twinkies. Pretty much anything creme-filled, actually.

I'm gonna go on record to say that I make the best Kool-Aid in the world. It's known in my house as "gourmet Kool-Aid."
  4. Have no idea. I don't think Honda as a whole has a 6A transmission anywhere. Interestingly, neither do Nissan (though they skipped right up to 7, but only for RWD applications) or Chrysler (at least not for the LX/LY cars). I do agree that this is one place they're behind. EDIT: I just saw a link to an article saying that the 6A was delayed for some reason.
  5. Amanda Bearse = Marcy D'Arcy from "Married with Children?" If so, that should be a "no surprise." Jon Amaechi would go into the "don't care" file for me since although he was the first NBA player to come out, he wasn't either good or relevant.
  6. Anyone remember the episode of Family Guy where Lois stopped breastfeeding Stewie and her breasts kept growing during the episode? I'd imagine that would happen to the cows (though less comedic).
  7. Everyone's talking about this from a competitive standpoint, but I thought of this... Potentially five Lambdas... unless they get to killing soon.
  8. My top 5: COTY - MKS, XF, Genesis, A4, CTS-V TOTY - Flex, Ram, F-150, Escalade Hybrid, Journey
  9. A legitimate 11/15. I missed #2 anyway.
  10. The '01 Bonneville that I wanted is still for sale at the same place... for about $1,400 less. And my wife now says it's ok if I want to get it. Only things I'll have to do/have done to it is get the passenger front window motor fixed and put a CD player in.
  11. I actually drive MORE due to my commuting schedule. I commute to DC via MARC three times a week, but that means that I have to drive to the train stop.
  12. I had a friend in college who ran ME... on a Compaq. That's just asking for it. I've never had problems with XP... well... until SP3. Had to uninstall that crap and roll back to SP2. But, umm... any WalMart-brand electronic appliance. After the DVD player that my mom bought me died after less than a year, I swore them off.
  13. For the past two days I've seen a Lamborghini Gallardo (Superleggera? couldn't tell) parked in the main lot of my school. Also, saw the new Audi A4 on my way home tonight. Looks like the XF from behind with the lights on... I couldn't tell it was an Audi until I passed it and saw the LED headlights. Nice, though.
  14. All I remember is that after Katrina, gas prices first spiked. Not saying it's right or justifiable, but it happens.
  15. I'm guessing the effects of the hurricane have more to do with gas prices going up than the actual cost of oil.
  16. Nope. I was right there with you. Guess it's perspective...
  17. Saw a Kia Borrego in the wild. If I didn't pay attention to the industry, I wouldn't have paid it any attention. That's how nondescript this vehicle is.
  18. Yeah, I voted "yes." Better late than never.
  19. So, then, they should have pushed it back until a couple of years until the platform was completely designed and ironed, according to you. Or it should have been a 2-door Insignia, according to you.
  20. :::looking around for any current cars using the Alpha platform:::
  21. You know you just said "Bloody Mary" once, right?
  22. Just filled the wife's car up for $3.87/gal, which was the lowest price I've seen in the past few days. BTW, Maximas take premium.

    Jeep gripe

    Well, who can?
  24. These. I can't believe that I knew that Santana song "Smooth" but not by name. Now I feel slow.
  25. There was a price of $5.23 in Sumter County? SRSLY? SUMTER COUNTY, SOUTH CAROLINA??? Why?
