  1. It's 13 degrees out right now--and if I don't get my arse out in the next 5 minutes, I won't be there when the kids walk in :AH-HA_wink: It just seems like a day you want to stay in bed all toasty and warm!
  2. I have to say, this has been one of the mildest winters for us... we've had almost no snow--a couple of inches to date. Tomorrow night another snow-to-rain mix thing happening... where we'll get an inch and it'll wash away. At least it's not doing what it used to do--snow, turn to rain, freeze, then snow again on top of it.
  3. Look, OC, only you know what's best for you. I wish you luck and happiness. Just don't compare him to the ex ever since he'll be the first guy living with you since the ex... it's what I do, and no good comes from it. But just take it one day at a time, and do what feels right. Keep the communication open, and for now, finances separate.
  4. What is the new 4-cyl turbo? Is it DI?
  5. How about a small, DI 3.6L with/without turbo Super edition? Throw in some satin-nickel accents, some black woods, suede, offer nav, premium audio, bam... winner
  6. I would hope GM has learned from their mistakes. Honestly though, I'd be excited about a smaller Buick I wish I knew the dimensions of the NG LaCrosse... it might be interesting to make a car around 185", premium, AWD optional, etc.
  7. Happy Birthday Guys!!
  8. How would this work though? I mean, what is it... FWD/AWD? I can't imagine an IS-type car in the Buick lineup to be honest... I can think of a Jetta type car, but definitely not an IS-type. I just can't imagine young kids striving for the new Buick out there.
  9. I'd buy a smaller Buick... as much as I LOVE a large sedan (I'd LOVE if there was a new Roadmaster out there!)... there are many aspects of a smaller car I miss. And give it some premium quality, quiet ride, I'd totally go for a smaller Buick.
  10. Congrats again Chris! ... as for the rest, I'm keeping my mouth shut.
  11. Wonder what he was doing on "gaywheels"? And I'm not referring to Chris.
  12. But I don't like how I look in red...
  13. I love that as they're saying "Morally good," they're running over someone! LOL
  14. I forgot about that. Honestly, when I saw Christian driving it, I said, WTF? Where's his Lamborghini or Ferrari?! Then I remembered, Sean owned one.
  15. I don't know how to host a video, but there's a commercial advertisement ragging on Grand Theft Auto IV's version of the Prius--"Expensive, but the Earth is worth it. For only thirty-nine nine ninety-nine. Bad plus good, equals better for everyone." Meanwhile, they're slamming it into cars, people are breaking the windows... I got a chuckle. Their "Whiz Wireless" commercial was funny too. :AH-HA_wink:
  16. Actually, I think it's just leftover from last month. Anyhoo, I know what you feel like Reg... yes, I'm aware there's a problem. Yes, I'm aware people are doing things to solve it. I am too in my own ways. But my God, give it a rest... just maybe a month or two, no global warming affecting every final aspect of our lives. Sadly, no matter how many articles are written, if someone just doesn't get it, they're not going to get it. Let them buy cars that get 12mpg... after all, there are people still making them. If you give someone a recycling bucket for their home, I'm going to guess 9 out of 10 homes won't recycle every single thing they could in that bucket.
  17. I really liked your wording on that.
  18. No... those are fun bags and vajayjays. Thanks for the input guys! I'm miserable always being sick, so waiting until July is going to suck--I just need to try and get better after this infection (this time it's bad).
  19. That's sad. And I know media will eventually call them on it.. as well as dismiss the beautiful GMT900 hybrids out there. I'd like to see some good competition in the hybrid department for GM in the midsize and even compact segment. I'd love to see a true Malibu Hybrid that gets like 40mpg highway and still has ample power. GM knows they got the looks and quality down pat, and now they have the publics interest. If they stuck while the iron was hot, yet still remained a bit modest, that'd be pretty sweet. Now, give us a great small hybrid too--maybe make the next Cobalt or Astra a hybrid. Give it 45-50mpg. GM could do this. And of course, bring on the Volt!
  20. Sorry to hear. Apparently, I have "severe" sleep apnea... but with the removed tonsils and open airway through the nose, they say my breathing will be vastly improved... to the extent I'll feel like a different man during the day. I'm going to wait until the summer I think... the problem is, I just keep getting sick because of my tonsils constantly getting infected. Sigh. Anyone wanna buy me a Lucerne CXS or Malibu LTZ as a sympathy gift?
  21. Okay, so here's the deal: Little background info: I have enormous tonsils... like the biggest any doctor has ever seen (it is directly related to hoohah size from what I hear :AH-HA_wink: ) Anyway, I also have a severe deviated septum... and severe sleep apnea. I can't use the machine, because my nose doesn't allow enough air to pass through it (literally my entire right nostril is closed), for me to breathe at night. Doctors have recommended I have the tonsils removed and the septum opened. This is coming from 3 different doctors. And all 3 say to do it at the same time, because the real risk in surgery is the anesthesia. My mother however, of course, must fight this. So she has been asking her own doctor, who says have him do one, then the other (mind you her doctor has never seen me). Now, towards the end of April, I have just over a week off... including weekends, it'll be 10 days in a row. I could potentially have the surgery and recuperate during that time, but only have the tonsils done, because having both done in April requires 2-3 weeks of recuperation. Also, keep in mind, I'm a language teacher, and I need to be able to speak when I return to work. And in May, just 3 weeks after the vacation, I have to have close to 500 brief conversations with students for the State Proficiency, and usually, under normal circumstances, I have no voice after the 500. As for this summer, I'm taking 5 classes for work, but I'm off July and August. So, what would you do?
  22.
  23. I honestly think the Aura Greenline and Malibu Hybrid are pointless. It's like just so GM can say they have hybrids on the road. The fuel economy increase is just so marginal to what the actual rating is for the non-hybrid, I wouldn't even bother. I do wonder however if the 6-speed auto will help the hybrid when it comes out. I doubt it'd be significant, but even 1 mpg will help.
  24. Bump. Spring is a month away, and still no word on the pricing of a 4-cylinder LTZ? Anyone know anything about this?
  25. God
