  1. Here's the catch... the car has to be reliable and of high quality to make them maintain their new perception "GM is great."A lot of my friends still think of GM as "another low-quality domestic". Unfortunately, they look at my car, very old GM product, and don't see how wonderful the new things are. I'm sure if I rolled up in a new LaCrosse or Lucerne, they'd love being passengers. Hey, they used to enjoy the ride when I borrowed mom's 92 LeSabre Limited years ago.
  2. It's interesting to read your answers "The Volt". My friends who own a 2004 Prius and a 2005 Corolla LE, are selling the Corolla the second they can get their hands on a Volt. Mind you, their family (4 older brothers his side, 2 younger siblings her side), has not owned an American vehicle since the father owned a Grand Marquis in the 80's. Since then, it's been Toyota, Lexus, Mercedes, BMW. The second they read about the Volt, they were on the band wagon.
  3. Agreed. I have to buy another car... and I don't have money to throw in the garbage. Someone might be buying this thinking they're getting a reliable car for school or work, and have major things to deal with. I'm counting on people to be mostly honest with cars. I would never sell my existing car (which starts up and runs like there's nothing wrong with it), under the misunderstanding that they're buying a reliable vehicle. The other night it was boiling coolant out the overflow until the tank was empty, and the car failed to give me any power when I hit the gas in merge situations. It randomly stalls after driving for a while, gets EXTREMELY poor fuel economy, and the rear left window doesn't always want to respond. If I were selling the car, and someone asked me is there anything wrong with it, I would be honest down to the last detail.
  4. Interesting Ted... thanks. It gives a better idea of what kind of interior they're going for. One thing I HATE about the gauges... and I've said it before... I hate gauges that have the numbers angled around them. I like my numbers all vertical.
  5. I just hope the car is stunning, well-equipped, and has NO pushrod V6's.
  6. I'm really interested to know what this NG LaCrosse will look like. Although I really don't have any problem with the LaCrosse name... but I've always loved the Regal name. It means something to me, and I associate it with sporty/luxurious.
  7. Ummmm... my car color? I think it fits me perfectly. Dark cranberry - Fruit. `Mo.
  8. You know... just cause we're tall, doesn't mean we have to always be called "Tall Paul"! :AH-HA_wink: God if someone sings the song, I'm going to cry. Congratulations Sixty8!!!
  9. I think I just wet myself.
  10. It barely does worse than the 3.6L (which still blows my mind as the 3800 gets better fuel economy). It's only off 1mpg city and highway.Engine - City - Highway 3800 - 17 - 28 3.6 - 17 - 25 5.3 - 16 - 24
  11. Wait wait wait... what's the price of the 4-cylinder LTZ?
  12. See them in person before you judge. I wanted a dark blue car, but when I saw midnight blue metallic in person, it was a lot lighter than I thought.
  13. Well, I don't know about the "tow", but isn't the Aura supposed to get a wagon version? That would explain the rear windshield wiper button.
  14. Wow, for a station wagon, I like it. And I HATE station wagons.
  15. Oh, I figured this was going to be another Toyota hit me thread!
  16. Instead of being like a 10-speed, does it come with a CVT? :AH-HA_wink:
  17. Happy Birthday! Sorry I'm a day late!

    2008 Brochures

Midnight Blue is available on the 07.
  19. Why are there no images or info about the Lucerne Super on the site? The LaCrosse Super is there.
  20. Mary Kay? Ouch My Eyes! The glasses do nothing!
  21. LOVE the chop. Hate to say it, but I'm diggin' the color too!
  22. Slight update to the sites overall look. The LaCrosse definitely looks better, and I like the new paint choices for the LaCrosse and Lucerne. 3 models. Wow. Looks so scarce.
  23. ??? Care to elaborate? Post the article? Talk about it?
  24. Grazie :AH-HA_wink: I guess as an Italian teacher, I shouldn't get it. Especially since in the first week I start teaching them the sounds of the letters. LOL
  25. You guys are boring. I was going to get a license plate that said: FACCHIÙ
