I'm In love. After you click the link, you will be too!
It's odd to see the sport type grille on a regular 4dr.. that's one of things I don't like about the CLS grille--it just looks odd without the hood ornament (all Benzes should have the stand up hood ornament, IMHO).

Anyone going to the show?
Robert Hall replied to AM6_Cutlass's topic in North American International Auto Show in Detroit (NAIAS)I'd like to have gone this weekend...the weather was actually better in Detroit than here, something I've never seen before in January..

2008 Cadillac CTS: NAIAS pictures and video
headlights are the window to the soul, they say...so it must be the inner Cadillac glowing with pride..

2008 Dodge Magnum SRT8, R/T Image Gallery
Chargerish, but different...actually, the car the new SRT front reminds me of the most is the Avenger.

Pontiac G8/Holden Commodore Confirmed
I like what I've seen of the Commodore SS... I think that any 'controversy' stems from that a lot of people on here are so used to Pontiac building overstyled FWD sedans and the idea of a modern, RWD V8 sports sedan with understated styling branded as a Pontiac is something they can't grasp...

Winter Storm
It's been a lousy winter so far here...snow four weeks in a row, snow staying on the ground (not something I'm used to seeing in Denver), and sub-zero temps this past weekend...and I've got a cold again.. ARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH

2008 Cadillac CTS: Image Gallery
Looking at the various pics, this car has a lot of interesting surface development..I like the beveling below the side windows that extends into the quarter panel and up to the front fender vent, and all the various angles to the front fascia.. Unfortunately, I also realized how much an NA style license plate is going to ruin the front end appearance...

Pontiac G8/Holden Commodore Confirmed
Exactly...with the development $$$ going to to the '08 Malibu and CTS (and the '09 Impala and Camaro), GM probably didn't have much to spend on Pontiac...

Pontiac G8/Holden Commodore Confirmed
Just reverse the interior pics, and you have a Lumina..it's just a Commodore with LHD and different badging, I assume? Take the Lumina SS and put a Pontiacish nose, and that should be the G8...as shown in Motor Trend several months ago.. I think this can work..if Saturn can have some Americanised Opels, then Pontiac can have some Americanised Holdens..RWD sport sedans is something they are certainly known for.

I'm with you on this...everytime I see a LaCrosse I think Avis.. a decent rental car, but not remotely aspirational...

Well, there were no <sarcasm> tags around the post..it's hard to detect sarcasm in typed text.

GM Goes Extra Mile With Camaro
To make it simpler, 3/5 of an inch is 0.6 inches. But agreed about it being metric...everything I did I school was in metric, so I would assume in industry (even in the US) it would be in metric. I would have thought they would have made the roof a couple of inches higher, though...at least make the windshield tall enough to see out of and provide headroom for adults..

2007 Cadillac BLS Sport
Yes, but I don't think European Fords are thought of as American..Ford has been big in Europe for many decades and has built distinctly European cars in Europe for the European market.. Cadillac is selling distinctly American cars in Europe (except for the BLS) ...

GM Goes Extra Mile With Camaro
No, I think an engineer might say that..though I would expect it to be in millimeters.

So? How does that count? GM is in the business of selling new cars.

2008 Cadillac CTS: Press Release
I got to thinking about the weight..it's ok...heft has always been in the Cadillac DNA, and is a defining American car attribute..I can't imagine Cadillac building a small, lean, nimble sports sedan--that's too European. To keep it's American character, it needs to be hefty...and some people will like that quality.

2008 Cadillac CTS: Image Gallery
The MKR is an exciting concept, but unfortunately, it's just that...a concept. The CTS is real.

GM Goes Extra Mile With Camaro
I'm amazed they would offer 21s...I would think they'd top out at 18 or 19 inch...I wonder if the production car will have smaller wheelwell openings than the showcar...17s would look small on there, I think..

Saleen Camaro a Possibility?
It wouldn't make sense for a Saleen Camaro...the name has been linked with Ford products for 20+ years..
