I like the CTS coupe a lot..it grew on me...it's a very distinctive design and I like the sharp angles. The ATS coupe is nice, but it just looks like a 2dr version of a 4dr...not as distinctive.

Went back out to another waterfall this afternoon, Great Falls of Tinkers Creek in Bedford. Several waterfalls are within 20-30 minutes of home. Stopped at Tinkers Creek Tavern for a Lieneklugel and a pretzel on the way home..

Been out enjoying nature today... photos from Brandywine Falls in nearby Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

RIP Penny..our little rescue from Arizona. Had her almost 6 years, her health had been in decline for a while from liver problems, a bad hip and leg..her quality of life was declining. I know it was the right thing to do, but never an easy decision. Sweet little 6 lb Yorkie girl...

Yeah, a Mojito w/ appetizers, 2+ glasses of wine and an after-dinner Hennessy may have been too much... but it was fun. Today is a sad day, though...have to take one of our dogs to the vet to PTS...

Nice..was at Home Depot yesterday also.... when I came out, a black JGC Summit was on my left, and a black '19 JGC Limited X was on my right. Jeeps seem to cluster together in the parking lots.

It was a great day...alas, nasty hangover on Saturday. I can't drink the way I used to.

The US market wants 4dr pickups...2drs just don't sell enough anymore..and they aren't profitable enough, I guess...

The current Dodge Charger and a generation of the Maxima back in the 00s had a slight version of that, where the rear window was recessed slightly between the c-pillars. I'm sure there are others also.

Saw a rare one today. A black ‘87 Buick Regal Turbo T. Looks like a Grand National, but had the T-Type wheels and different badging. In great shape at my local frozen custard stand. Also saw a clean bright orange 70s MG Midget.

2016 Toyota Tacoma, Butt Ugly or just my take on their design style?
Robert Hall replied to G. David Felt's topic in Toyota
GMC has more chrome and their grilles are far larger and blockier than the Tacoma’s. No resemblance in the shape or detail of the grille or lighting clusters either. -

I see no resemblance between the Tacoma front end and GMC's overwrought bling. -
No dress code that I saw, but I tend to dress up a bit when going to fancy places.. no shorts and t-shirts. Food was delicious.

Getting my Big 80s vibe on tonight with some Roxy Music, from 1980's 'Flesh + Blood'...

Enjoying a Hennessy after dinner at Cleveland's magnificent Marble Room tonight on my birthday. Another year to go until the big 5-0... https://www.marbleroomcle.com

Of the older films, Duel, Vanishing Point and Bullitt are probably my favorites. Of racing-themed movies, I love Grand Prix, Le Mans, Winning and Rush. Of more contemporary movies w/ car chases, Ronin and The Transporter are maybe my favorites...

Maybe Hollywood will make a movie about a possessed self-driving car...with a Tesla, maybe.
-
Saw it maybe 10 years ago... the hero car was a '67-69 Cuda, the villain drove a modified '71-72 Eldorado IIRC...

Watching it now, in episode 4. Enjoying it, a lot of fun.. (took a break to try and watch the debate, but Hulu kept crashing), so back to the show..

How about this for a bold move---one way to get more visibility for the Camaro would be to base the next one off of the Silverado. Great visibility and head room, big mirrors. Picture a Silverado cab with 2 longer doors, a back seat, a restyled front w/ sloping hood, and a trunk in place of the bed. V8, mount the Camaro IRS on a short wheelbase Silverado chassis... sit low w/ 2wd, make an AWD version available.

Way cool. But GM doesn’t care, since they have 57 flavors of FWD/AWD transverse engine CUVs with despair gray interiors.
-
Which is pretty close to the timelines of the 5th and 6th gen Camaros, and the current Mustang.
-
Or the Bolt for comparison, Chevy to Chevy. With the Leaf, it would be 12 years. But again, who would keep something like a Leaf or i3 for over a decade? These are just lease appliances for 2-3 years...
-
Yes, Or if you only drive 8000 miles/year like I do, it would only be 39 years with the Cruze or 14 years with my Jeep.
-
I'm surprised GM would do this, they will need a RWD performance sports coupe for when the C7 goes away....(I suspect the C8 is going to be a total dud in the market, they will have to do something).
