  1. I doubt if this will ever make it here..PCS and his evil minions will prevent it.

Pretty cool, but I'll stick w/ my Mac Book Pro.
  3. That would be useful, kind of fit between the Fit and Civic..

The beginning of the end...GM NA will be dead with a decade? Is that the plan?

Umm, GM's been build appliances for 20+ years...many car enthusiasts long ago moved to Hondas and BMWs...
  6. I like how they went with the '70 style grille instead of the concept car's grille. I like it..nice execution of retromodern design.
  7. Interesting.. I don't think I've ever seen a longbed regular cab of the current HDs..didn't know they still built that combination (the trucks I see are all extended and crew cabs). I imagine the gas mileage would be hideous, though...
  8. Interesting..I've never encountered one of the under the seat batteries..how do you access it--does the seat bottom fold up and there is a closed compartment w/ the battery?
  9. You just have to accept that's it's not 1970...you aren't going to get the wide variety of RWD V8 bodystyles that GM had then..it's a different time, different place.
  10. Yes, there is plenty of good stuff out now and coming....the drama queens on this board are taking things to extremes, I think.
  11. That happened many years ago...look at all the Corolla and Camry buyers (not to mention the millions of FWD generics GM sold in the '80s-90s).
  12. The CTS coupe makes my daily driver decision more difficult...I was thinking of getting a new CTS sedan in the next year or so..now I'm thinking of waiting until June 2010 (if the coupe is available then). Either way, a CTS would be a great turning-40 (June 2010) car for me.. (the Grand Cherokee was my turning-30 purchase).
  13. YEah..I'm looking forward to seeing if they do a convertible version...
  14. Well, a loaded sedan is about $45k, so the coupe will probably top out close to $50k... the base will probably be under $40k, though.
  15. True, he's hopeless...but the CTS coupe will probably be $40k+, so it's not exactly bargain basement..
  16. I wonder how many they could have sold, though..maybe a few thousand, but beyond that..
  17. I rarely ever see '80s G bodies around here... once in a while i see a worn-out beater or a lowrider, but that's about it.
  18. I'm sure the cancellation of the Dodge Magnum helped this decision... wagons just don't sell in the US...too many crossovers and SUVs.
  19. I think it should be, definitely.. they'd better not give best concept to the Venza.

Watch out...Nauti-P is ten pounds of terror..when she goes aggro, she's like a pirannha...tiny fangs..rip yer arm off..
  21. Though I've long bashed GM-10/W- bodies, they are certainly better than the smaller FWD GMs that came from the '80s..the A- bodies, J-bodies, N- bodies in particular...some were even pretty cool--I still like the looks of the Cutlass convertible, early Regal coupes, and the '97-03 Grand Prix.. My opinion in general, historically, with both FWD and RWD models, GM has always done midsize and larger models better than compact or subcompact models, at least in NA.
  22. Maybe it will go the way of the Crown Vic.... the 2015 Impala will be much the same as the 2005 was, but with a different grille and steering wheel cover..
  23. Hmmm..well if Venza is to Camry what Taurus X is to Taurus, then ? is to Malibu..(the next Equinox?)
  24. The local TV ads are lind of like that here..one Toyota dealer specifically has comparison ads with two people w/ the same car (Camry, 4Runner, etc) and one smugly mentioned where they bought it and the deal they got, and the other is bummed because they bought elsewhere..
