ATS = Less Mass
My Toronado's speedometer goes to 100...... ..... well it's good to have goals I suppose.

ATS = Less Mass
I think it is reconfigurable. I find on the GM's that do this partially now, I set the display to digital speed readout and use that instead of the needle.

Project Toronado
Did I mention she took 3rd place at the regional Oldsmobile show back in September? Not bad considering I hadn't actually prepared her for it. I only registered so I could get good parking and the $10 goes to the club. Starring down her competition in the 1980-1989 class. That white coupe in the distance took first. Also only has 27k miles on it... but what use is a car that you don't drive? Again, I was the only Toronado of any year on the show field.

Cadillac XTS Struts Its Stuff At LA
No. Most people don't even know which way the engine is oriented. As long as when they turn the key, or push the button in SMK's "high tech" world", and the engine starts, they never have a reason to even open the hood.

Cadillac XTS Struts Its Stuff At LA
Some would say it is the ONLY factor. The question is, do they know which wheels drive the car? For everyone except SMK and maybe 3 others, once the car is AWD, what the car is "based" on no longer matters.

na, I like the idea of hybrids. I had an Escalade Hybrid sneak up behind me at the hotel yesterday. Damn thing is quiet.

Rumorpile: Toyota FT-86 To Come Under 2,500 lbs?
Why they won't call this Supra is beyond me.

Hyundai and Kia share the same parent company. So it becomes product overlap.

What do you think they do to get the Opel smell? Pack some bratwurst in for the shipping across the Atlantic?

Nissan Not Ready To Give Up In The Full Size Truck Wars
Back when the F150 V8 only had this amount of power, if you bought the F150 you did so in spite of the power deficit compared to the GM or Dodge because it was still a great truck. There is no compelling reason to buy a Titan unless maybe you know a guy who works in the service department of a local Nissan dealer and maybe they'll throw in a Sentra for your wife too.

Project Toronado
Was intending on replacing the spark plug wires anyway when she started giving a rough idle. The jacket on one of the Accel wires was cracked. Got a new set of A/C Delcos from Amazon.com and got a distributor cap and rotor there too. Cleaned up the idle pretty well. Also found the proper pulley for the A.I.R. pump so I can finally put the emissions system back together.

I haven't had an Eco as a rental. But I've had a very nicely equipped Cruze at Avis.
