Pork Roll and spam are not quite the same thing

I'll have a #1, please. but seriously, there is only one place in town I have found that I can buy pork roll. I'm the only one in the house that will eat it though I don't know why. I think people just object to the name because the same people who turn their nose up at pork roll will go and eat salami or other deli hams.

Chevrolet News:Chevy Cancels the City Express
I agree. I think something is up though. GM is in the process of re-doing ALL of their platforms.. they want to go the VW route of MLB and MQB, but with two additional variations. I'm wondering if we don't see something come from that. Or maybe even *gasp* a Bolt City Express! . An EV city delivery van with a 250 mile range could turn the segment on its ear.

How many Germans does it take to screw in a lightbulb? Just one. Germans are efficient and not very funny.

Chevrolet News:Chevy Cancels the City Express
Back in 2014, Chevrolet introduced a small delivery van called the City Express. The new little can was the result of a marketing agreement between Nissan and General Motors for Chevy to rebadge Nissan's successful NV200 small delivery wagon. But where Nissan did well, Chevrolet faltered and the City Express languished on lots. Typical sales months for the CE were in the triple digits while by comparison, Ford moved as many as five times that amount with its direct competitor the Transit Connect. Automotive News reports that back in September, dealers were told to stop ordering them and as of February this year the last City Express rolled off the line and has already been scrubbed from the Chevy website. No word yet on if Chevrolet intends a replacement on its own platform. Source: Automotive News Photo: GM, with Editorial additions by Drew Dowdell View full article

Industry News: China Considers Cutting EV Subsidies
They have multiple avenues. Since they are trying to be more economically democratic, but still with a directed economy, the way to most influence consumer spending is to charge additional tax at the pump and use that tax to build temporarily subsidized EV charging stations. That way "The People" can vote with their wallet the next time they buy a new car.

Industry News: China Considers Cutting EV Subsidies
Unless everyone is pumping at 100%, which they aren't, oil producers can increase production faster than Chinese industry can increase car sales. Furthermore, as the price of oil goes up, indirect industry tends to slow. The oil prices going up rapidly is one of those Series of Unfortunate Events that helped to cause the last big economic meltdown. Socialism isn't the issue.. corruption is.

Review: 2018 Hyundai Sonata Limited
The one thing that surprised me about @William Maley's review is his statement that the car is super quiet inside. I haven't driven this version of Sonata, but prior versions had some road and engine noise issues. So assuming Will's observation is correct, then Hyundai has gone on a quiet tuning quest.

No, because it connects sometimes. It's not even really out of date. I'm on the newest version of Android. I just won't get any future updates to android.

Phones
Yes. It's more for the social media aspect. For the posting of reviews and reveals, I would still use my Sony Alpha A6000 that I love, but its connection to my phone is beyond terrible. It only connects about 25% of the time which makes it difficult to snap a picture and post to instagram or facebook. Plus, it would be good for situations where I think I might need a camera but I'm not going to pack the big camera, so I can just take that attachment.
