No the screen doesn't pop up. The Intelilink doesn't "download" the music to itself from a flash drive, but it can play music off of a flash drive. I just usually use my work iPhone for carrying music.

Cadillac + Trucks is where GM makes most of its profit. Chevy from the Malibu on down make very little profit per unit. The Escalade makes gobs of profit. You simply cannot compare the profit margin of a Spark to the profit margin of a CTS. The German Big 3, in their full-size models, also weigh on average about 600lbs more than this car will. CT6 3700lbs + a possible 200lbs for 3.0L TT=3900 A8 4400lbs 740i 4350lbs S550 4700lbs LS460 4300lbs The base CT6 2.0T weighs less than a base CTS 2.0T

A grandfather & a last Detroit-built Caddy

should be the same as the span of those E-Bodies. Model year '79 - model year '85. After that I think Linden started building S10s or S10 Blazers -

I thought you knew about the Linden switch, so I was thinking "what isn't he getting here?" when reading the posts. -
A grandfather & a last Detroit-built Caddy
Drew Dowdell replied to knightfan26917's topic in The Lounge
.. well it was the last Detroit built Eldorado as of that point... when they took the picture, they had no idea that the '86 Eldorado would be built at Hamtramck. That Eldorado was built in Detroit until 1978. When the '79 bodystyle switched to the new slimmer E-bodies (like my car) production switched to Linden NJ. After that bodystyle was over, production moved back to Hamtramck for the '86 model year. So it was probably a big deal to those production line employees that "their" car wasn't going to be built in Detroit anymore and instead was going to NJ. Thus the picture. -

Well it couldn't have been an '85 Eldorado, but it could have been an '86 built in '85 -
The tail lights have a neat effect. I can't post the picture at the moment, but when the tail lights are off, they become smooth chrome rather than red. I got a shot of it and when I go through my pictures tomorrow, I'll post it. I'm heading to a Maxima event now.

Mitsubishi News: New York Auto Show: 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander
Drew Dowdell replied to William Maley's topic in Mitsubishi
Well they do have a 3.0L V6 available on the GT. yes but this 4 cylinder is rather outclassed by most other engines for vehicles this size. The Outlander fills a mostly abandoned niche though, it feels about the same size as the old Pathfinder and old old Chevy Blazer. It feels more "traditional SUV" than the new Crossovers do since the new crossovers have a decidedly more Mommy-Van feel to them these days.- 8 replies

at it's worst really... The best thing Toyota could have done is leave the face mostly alone and just swap out the badges.

Far more tasteful than that, but I see what you're seeing. I see a bit of previous Ford Edge Sport in there too.- 8 replies

I guess part of their new pedestrian collision prevention technology includes scaring them out of the way before they get hit.
