  1. The next Frontier is all but certain to contain a Cummins 4-cylinder.... so it will most likely get that rather than a Benz unit.
  2. It can keep up just fine. It has more power than a similarly priced 4-series or A4.
  3. It's great that the network is being further built out. I wonder though how visible it is to non-EV drivers. When driving along a highway, I'll regularly see signs for gas stations at the coming up exit, but never for EV station even when I happen to know a charging station is available. This reminds me of another article that I need to write.
  4. Also... Nissan is moving up in the world. The last time they built a small pickup and re-badged it for someone else, it was Suzuki. Maybe they can dust off that old tooling?
  5. I've spent small bit of time in one of these with the bordello red interior..... If only my automotive needs were different, I would own one.
  6. I mean really... at least go to GM or Ford or Ram who each at least know how to build class leading trucks. Each of them have been "Truck of the Year" multiple times... how many times has the Titan been there?
  7. When was that? Late 60's? 1968 I believe... and we already know that the 1968 Toronado is not the answer, and Balth said that this plastic grille came a few years before.
  8. Pontiac with the endura nose? (that's the innovation I'm guessing on... and yes, just a shot in the dark)
  9. The tan and brown interior was very pleasant...I've had enough black and dark gray interiors in my life, really liking lighter interiors... A light interior and sunroof is on my must have for my next car, especially as I transition from living in a hot, dry sunny environment to a colder, gray rainy environment... You're moving?
  10. It's April and it's time to start our November spreadsheet already William?
  11. Nice! Supercharging is now included in the base options! Z-06 and I got a great explanation about the dual motor system in Detroit. Apparently the front motor is smaller and thus uses less energy to run, so when you're on an easy highway cruise, the car runs as a front driver and sips less juice.
  12. That may be the biggest single reason Ram won't get one.... they are serious about bringing a Wrangler pickup in the next generation. .... all of the BS about fuel economy is just that.... bs. GM sold over 9,000 of their new pickups in February with no decrease in sales of Silverado or Sierra.... and no decrease in sales of the Tacoma (up 13%) or Frontier (up 5.4%). The GM twins came out of no-where and are now outselling the Tundra and Frontier even though both of those models are still posting increasing sales. The mid-size truck market is growing and Ram ignores it at their own peril.
  13. The best I can come up with is the ~64 Plymouth Cuda... but even then I'm not sure if that center bit is metal or plastic. my other guess was the Avanti since it is fiberglass.. but that doesn't really have a grille. Aside from that, it's going to be something obscure like a Crosley or Allstate
  14. I'll translate from German to English for you - "Their badge is round and so is ours, so 'engineering' this truck is going to be super duper easy!"
  15. I guess it depends on what you consider "the grille". If you consider these lattice pieces that cover the headlights to be "the grille", then I am 98.263% sure they are plastic. On the earlier years where the headlights drop down, the grille on the '66 and '67 are metal.
  16. It had to be way before that. I know the '68 Toronado headlamp/grille covers were plastic
