  1. Just noticed thats not even the 335xi, AWD would make it even more expensive? Why in gods name would anyone pay that for a 3er? That 5er/6er territory.
  2. I could see the G8 and Camaro sharing engines, but I highly doubt they will let the base engine come auto only. Make the manual an option with the auto standard like the F-body had for a while (I dont recall, was the 6-speed an extra cost option or no cost? I know it was extra cost on the C5) but dont make the V6 auto only, in this type of car, thats a terrible idea.
  3. I can think of a Few people whO need to take this Great quote to heart.
  4. Ummm....bye, I guess. For the 8,463rd time I am going to rant about how if people dont like a forum (not just this one, any forum) they really shouldn't bother posting threads about how they're leaving and why they're leaving. If you're leaving, leave, people may notice, they may not, but posting junk like this just appears to be a plea for attention. I would recommend that nobody else reply to this thread (I know I am almost as big a hypocrite as certain members we have here) because a member who doesn't want to be around wont read it anyways, right? And if they do read it and reply to it, it just means they did want to be around, they just wanted some attention, so leaving replies would just validate them.
  5. I priced a 135 up over $40k the other day, and that wasn't even fully loaded.
  6. Ummm...the Cold War lasted the better part of 40 years, the space race more than ten (between Sputnik and Apollo 11) You might want resolution a little quicker.
  7. How did GM count Geo? Were those sales combined with Chevy since both were sold through the same channels? Toyota/Scion should be counted the same way Chevy/Geo were back in the 80's/90's since thats basically the same situation.
  8. The only niche models (dont kid yourself, thats what the Camaro is) to some out in the last decade that weren't doomed for a short life were the New Beetle and PT Cruiser, both of which had the advantage of being attainable, practical cars wrapped in unique sheet metal.
  9. So, nobody wants to break out the "If theres grass on the field, play ball" rule? Or the horrible, atrocious bastardization, "If theres grass on the field play ball, if there isn't, flip her over and play in the mud"? Forget I ever typed that.
  10. St. Ides?
  11. Somehow I kept my resolution from last year (not going to buy a new car) even though I really really didn't want to. This year, its pretty simple. Get through school and get rid of those damned rabbits in the back yard.
  12. I would highly recommend the Maxx, I nearly bought one instead of my Fusion, and there are days thats I regret not buying the Maxx.
  13. Lutz?
  14. Trying to get my brother-in-law to buy it, he would love to have one and I would totally borrow it all the time.
  15. I had to take a $500 hit on my L200 when I traded it in because it was a stick. BTW, the Wrangler I drove was an auto, and it was pretty smooth.
  16. I finally got around to test driving an Unlimited yesterday morning. It rides a lot smoother and quieter than previous Wranglers. I still think it looks a little odd, but it was a lot nicer ride that I expected. The interior has that wonderful Chrysler feel, but it isn't quite as bad in a vehicle like the Wrangler. I didn't pull the trigger on the Wrangler because I would prefer a 2-door to the 4-door, the back doors are tiny and a pain to get in and out of, I dont imagine the 2-door would be any more difficult to get a front facing car seat into.

    iPhone

Just renewed my contract with AT&T online last night. No iPhone for me (though I have played with a few and they are freaking awesome) but I am getting a Blackjack II, which is almost equally awesome.
  18. Linkypoo If it were a different color combo, I would want it more, but white over blue isn't exactly hot in my mind. On top of that, I dont think I could ever justify a 40 year old car with a 462 V8 as a daily driver. But damn it looks like its in good shape.
  19. An off-the-wall suggestion that may work, how about a Wrangler? Honestly, the new ones are a blast to drive, and aren't overly trucky (you'll never mistake it for a Corvette, but its not bad). Plus, they're really short in 2-door form, and still smaller than my Fusion in 4-door form.
  20. I would second the Eos then, with one caveat, just like the G6 vert, there is almost no trunk space with the top down. I would test drive both the turbo 4 and the VR6 models, both seem to put up decent 0-60 times.
  21. Volvo C30 or BMW 1-series
  22. Finally, someone sees why I hate people tapping their brakes on the highway. Brake lights when they light up for no reason, such as canceling cruise control or trying to maintain speed downhill. That last one pisses me off a lot, because we do have some hills around here, one of which is heavily traveled and decently steep, all the time people ride their brakes going down, the reality is that if you coast from the speed limit at the top, at the bottom you pick up less than 5mph, in light traffic thats no biggie, in heavy traffic, brakes are even worse because there is always that idiot who will then slam on their brakes and the next thing you know one lane is backed up.
  23. I've got a handful of loose change that will cover what I believe a new Dodge to be worth.
  24. I just said F-it andgot a bunch of gift cars for everyone except my son. For him I went and picked up a bunch of stuff at Toys R Us the other day.
  25. If you want to know about another Rusty, the Rusty Trombone, this guy should be able to help.
