  1. They're totally just putting $50k into making it a hardtop, which only adds a couple of weeks to the schedule. God, thats another year and 3 months of bitching and moaning and conjecture and whining.
  2. Because GM humpers don't have the exact same tendencies?
  3. I live about 20 stop-and-go (or 35 highway) miles from work. The Fusion does fine, a smaller car would be better for economy, a bigger car would be better suited for my weekend needs. Thats why I want a couple of older, cheapie cars. Have two purpose vehicles instead of one that doesn't do anything particularly well.
  4. Ugggg...I hate it when people tap their brakes on the highway.
  5. Having a dedicated cancel button makes more sense than some obscure combination of buttons that the owner would have to dig through the owner's manual to find. Remember, this is a midsize car, the buyers aren't car buffs and aren't brilliant.
  6. Hmmm....a politician spending millions of dollars to win an election then uses a tragedy as a photo-op. Where have I seen that before?
  7. The Altima and Maxima aren't twins, and every article I've read about the ES in the last few years have mentioned that its Camry based and Camry bland.
  8. The triplets takes up less space on a page than Acadia, Enclave and Outlook. Americans are too stupid to stay interested long enough to read the latter so the former goes in the article. Plus, the editors have to make the write-up fit on the page. The bias talk is, was, and will continue to be asinine.
  9. Looks like the hostages have been released. And if I ever caught myself in agreement with Pat Buchanan on anything, I would shoot myself. Talk about a douche.
  10. As opposed to people who think that every impractical detail of a concept should make it into production?
  11. This close to show time, you're probably going to be stuck. Might as well stay in Windsor.

    Suggestions?

I went and looked at the Minor, and the body is in good shape where it isn't rusty. The rust is concentrated where the wood would be, along with some under the doors.

    M-I-Z

It got interesting towards the end, but my beloved Tigers beat the chickenhawks. No 1 in the country? Maybe, they've been unappreciated in the voting all year. God I love college football.

    Suggestions?

I've got time to kill today and was planning on going car shopping in that neck of the woods anyways, so I'll see what I can find out about it. Its sitting next to a handful of other older cars (what looked like a beat up old Charger, an El Camino and an ancient Dodge sedan when I was there the other night) that were probably restoration projects that people gave up on. The Morris really did look like it was in as good of shape as one could expect out of something that old for that price.
  15. Fly, we got together and bought you this, because we know you didn't really want to sell it.
  16. Now now, this is still GM we're talking about. There will be a big, gaudy plaque inside as well.

    Suggestions?

I recently saw a Morris Minor for sale. Needed a restoration pretty badly, but it apparently goes and stops. $1500 doesn't seem so bad for it.
  18. The Chrysler version makes me want an omelette.
  19. I'm not. He isn't exactly what I would call a fantastic politician.

    WT - what car?

What the hell, why not bring this one back up for discussion.
  21. But do you use it often?
  22. Hmmmm....can I slap a Cadillac badge on the Fusion, since I did once have a guy mistake it for a CTS? Dont think I'll have my Caprice purchased (I've decided on it, just need to get ahold of the dude selling it) and cleaned up in time, but by the time pics are to be submitted for next year it should be good and donked.
  23. I do see the resemblance in the headlights. And the 6er is gorgeous. The M6 is sex on wheels.
  24. Shhhh....hypocrisy isn't a word in his internal dictionary.
