  1. I dont absolutely hate it.
  2. Um...you sure that isn't a Mazda Protege? No? Wow
  3. C&D once ranked the Pontiac Montana ahead of the Sienna, Caravan and Windstar in a 4-van comparo. This sounds like some foolish hunting for something that doesn't really exist.
  4. Whoopty-doo, it'll turn left.
  5. Volt HHR Panel SS (if it looks like the silver concept) Mini Cooper S ?
  6. Accord ES350 Mini
  7. Daihatsu Charade with Florida plates
  8. Huh, no mention of GMS.
  9. We've had a thread like this already, and my answer still stands. No matter the make, if the driver is being dumb/douchebaggy, I'm not going to be courteous.
  10. Dash materials do get annoying, unfortunately, thats what the modern car buyer wants, do thats what gets thrown around.
  11. Now who isn't living in reality? :PIt would be nice to get some variety in the mindless rants, like turning an album over to the b-side from time-to-time, just to remind everyone that there is more. In summation, it wouldn't be practical for the Camaro (or any other new GM) to be a hardtop, and since GM is in the business of making money, not appeasing a minority, a hardtop isn't going to happen in 2009 or 2010 or 2011. I'm sure someone else will be happy to take your place in line for a new Camaro, and I am sure they will love it just as much as you love your next high-mileage foreign car.
  12. Never lived there, but I've visited and its a beautiful city. One of the few on the east coast that I could see myself in.
  13. The entire body behind the doors on a hardtop would be different from the convertible. Nothing to do with bracing, etc, but the fact that the c-pillar has to come down somewhere. The interior behind the front seats would be different, unless you think the back seat really needs to be smaller in the hardtop. There is a reason convertible back seats are tight, the top has to go somewhere, that usually involves shrinking the back seat. One reason the Mustang outsold the 4th gen is that the Mustang is more livable as a daily driver for people who use their cars as more than one-person transportation. The back seat of a Mustang isn't roomy by any means, but its more comfortable and easier to access than that of a Camaro. Chevy has to appeal to people who would otherwise buy a Mustang, and things like back seat room and access and trunk openings, etc matter. Or do you want two years of strong sales and then a dropoff?
  14. Umm.....Just about everything from the windshield back would be completely different in hardtop and convertible form.
  15. You're probably the only person alive who will call the Camaro mediocre or imply that it is a crappy car.
  16. I though the whole Chrysler lineup had been cut and thats why sales were in the $h!ter. The Sebring vert has good sales numbers because they're fleeted like mad.
  17. Eventually someone is going to come out with a CVT that doesn't suck and people will reap the benefits. I hope.
  18. Manual GTOs seemed to sit on lots forever, sadly even manual Solstices are left waiting 'round here. Manuals do have their place, but that place isn't going to be in any daily driver I own after the Fusion. Too much stop and go, getting caught in traffic to be constantly shifting.
  19. I'm just assuming these are two isolated incidents until I hear otherwise, still kinda weird.
  20. Blue Accord coupe. Hawt
  21. In the last month I have seen two '07 Aveo sedans on the side of a highway with smoke billowing out from under the hood. The first was here around Springgyfield, it was on the side of the road yet traffic was still backed up, and you could see flames poking out. The second was yesterday up near Jefferson City, where people apparently know how to drive, since it was on the shoulder and traffic was moving over, but not slowing to a creep. No flames, just thick smoke. It seems the new Aveo is indeed red hot.
  22. When I was a junior in high school, I had a membership to the 24/7 gym at a local hospital that I acquired through an acquaintance who worked there. One evening, after work, my girlfriend and I (we worked together) went to the gym to workout. It was about 1am when we finished working out, instead of heading off to the locker rooms, we stopped by the hot tub to relax and things got a little...physical. Turns out we weren't the only people at the gym. I ended up being banished, although I was not told how long the banishment would be. I applied for a job at the hospital last year and kind of wondered if I would be able to re-join. Didn't get the job so its a moot point.
  23. I've also had problems with math classes in the past, it seems to me that people who are stronger in the critical thinking, almost abstract areas (literature, psych, etc) have a tough time with cut-and-dry, right-or-wrong subjects like math. My advice would be to seek out either a classmate who "gets it" (I did this in a math class a while back) or a tutor.
  24. Fall In Love With A New Chevy Instead Of Reminiscing About An Old One. That should be Chevy's new line for everything.
  25. SE is midlevel, not base, S is base. A lot of what you say, I agree with as an owner, especially rear visibility. The dome light turns on with the dash light brightness switch, same as with every other car I've ever driven, the dome lights have rather ugly switches.
