  1. A trailer hitch?
  2. Chrysler has been surviving (if you can call it that) on fleet sales for years, pretty much since everyone realized the 300 isn't the automotive god people made it out to be. If I were a betting man, I'd say Toyota's jump in fleet percentage has something to do with retail buyers not buying Yarises. Really with they would update Automotive-Fleet.
  3. Didn't he have to knock down a wall because the car couldn't fit through the door?
  4. automotive-fleet.com has always been my source for numbers, unfortunately 2008 MY mid-year numbers are the most recent they have.
  5. 3.0 or 3.6 and what kind of mileage on the highway? This car just seems so freaking perfect.
  6. How is the outward visibility? The gigantic d-pillar seems like it might block your view when changing lanes, backing out of driveways, that kind of thing.
  7. An actual car-related question, how much stuff will it hold. Not cubic feet, but in reality. Lets say 4 people, 1500 mile, 7 day road trip, would there be enough cargo space for their luggage?
  8. It would be nice if they separated Genesis coupe and sedan sales, since they're completely different cars.
  9. Any way you can take a trip to Missouri and leave it in my garage?

    Ahhh snow

I agree, its not bad at all, but people are driving like dumbasses.
  11. Yeah, its pretty sad up close. Not exactly a high quality customization.

    Ahhh snow

Going towards a fence just seems like a really, really bad idea, in a regular sled, a canoe, a kayak, a snowmobile, or pretty much anything else capable of gaining momentum. Ocn, Tiny is her, Titty is mine (say TDI as if its a word, not an acronym and you'll see where I got that brilliant name) although it would make far more sense if it were the other way around. The Thing in the Garage is, sadly, not an actual VW Thing, just a thing that is apparently not capable of being removed from my freaking garage.
  13. Saw this bad boy months ago, wish I could have gotten more pics.

    Ahhh snow

Snow kayaking is probably my new favorite sport. That was a blast. The risk of decapitation was low, the risk of face planting into a boulder was pretty high. And yes, the locals flip out over snow. And ice. And wind. Basically unless its 65 degrees, partly cloudy with no wind, these people drive like the speed limit is 15mph. You've never named a car? We've got Tiny and Titty.

    Ahhh snow

We finally got our first real snow of the year, a whopping 4 inches. But since this is Missouri, it might as well be eleven feet, these people are absolute morons on the road. Saw a guy in a Silverado do a complete 360 upon exiting a gas station. Did I mention its only snow? Dry snow at that? I ran up the street in Tiny and didn't have a problem, even with the huge wall of snow the city kindly left at the bottom of the driveway. Now I think we're going to take the old, 9.5' kayak out and use it as a sled.
  16. Linkypoo I'd love to pick it up, but a 16 year old convertible with 150k+ on the odometer seems like an invitation for problems. Looks clean though, its too bad GM never bothered making another midsize convertible.
  17. Honda Crosstour in white, it isn't nearly as hideous as you all make it out to be.

    Happy new year

NYE ended up being pretty uneventful. There weren't many people out, probably because it was about 10 degrees. As we were leaving we got to see a guy puke all over the hood of a car, that was pretty cool. Spent most of today in bed, hanging out with the wife and taunting people on Facebook, so far 2010 has been a pretty good year.
  19. I've got to go make sure a friend doesn't hook up with a fat chick and end 2009/start 2010 on a bad note. Have a safe and happy new year y'all.
  20. According to GM's figures, Wikipedia's figures are off. Way off. From the November sales report CTS 34,637 54,378 -36.3 As of the end of November, the CTS was down 36.3% per GM's math. The 2009 numbers on Wikipedia are un-sourced, the GM numbers come straight from GM.
  21. True, the wagon wont add much, maybe a couple thousand, but I'd bet they'll be conquest sales, people looking at BMW and Audi wagons (and maybe SUV/CUV buyers), and not cannibalizing sedan sales.
  22. Sales numbers are hit-and-miss on Wikipedia, but anytime I want to check some out, I try there first because sometimes they're there and its extremely quick, other times I'm reduced to searching through GM's archives. And yes, the CTS has been consistant, it'll probably go up by a few thousand units when the wagon and coupe hit.
  23. Took about 8 seconds
  24. They shouldn't have messed up the xB, making it bloated is a huge part of the problem. Letting the tC get stale didn't help either.
  25. 1985 Corolla 41 bids, up to over $2000. Just because people will pay doesn't mean its worth paying for.
