According to what I read, two 1969 ZL-1 Corvettes were built: one has survived (it's a yellow car), the other, IDK. The engine was basically an aluminum version of the iron block 427 cid V8 with some changes tot he heads, I think. There were more ZL-1 engined cars, 1969 Camaros IIRC.

I am liking the SRX, and I don't give a flying **** that it's based on TE instead of Sigma

I look at this sketch and I remeber when I saw a sketch of the 94 Monte Carlo... I was so excited until I saw the real thing... I think it'll get a new front bumper and grille, and that's it.

IMHO SAAB could be the perfect brand for that. But BMW (or any other OEM) won't take a 2nd look at them in the current environment.

I didn't write Hybrid, I wrote "green" which can be achieved through lower displacement engines, which do get better mileage if you're mostly driving around town (as people outside the US do most of the time); lighter-weight materials; something like BMW's Efficient Dynamics...

Above MINI and somewhat parallel to BMW, offering turbocharged 4-cylinder sport-luxury cars with a very sharply focused "green" image. It's targeted at those who want a "green" image, practicality and styling that reflects that set of Values. I don't see it selling more than MINI's volume, but I think BMW could pull it as they did with MINI.

There's another one I just remeber: sleeping! A good night sleep when you're feeling tired or down is a real pleasure!

I personally wouldn't... Now that's a good thing to copy because all these brands have very, very sharp focus. I think a 4th brand fits in here, but it won't happen because the BMW Group won't be able to get the acquisition financing it would need for that 4th brand... You forgot Seat and Skoda :AH-HA_wink:
