  1. If I run over grandma every time I drive... Grandma is having trouble learning to stay away from the car, isn't she?
  2. Aha! I see! Epic EXCITEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!1!!!!eleventy-billion
  3. Lighter weight = EXCITEMENT!!!!!! Amortize the cost via a LWB Cadillac sedan and the small (but always incremental - good for cost dilution) volume of a sporty SWB Chevrolet sedan for NA, perhaps?

Agreed on the two-prong strategy. But I have this odd idea that the brand that would get canned would be Cadillac and not Buick.
  5. Love the colour and the fact that it is a manual. Can you see out of it, though?
  6. Now that was f@#king funny!!! Ooops, sorry... EDIT - apparently the "f@#king word filters" still work inside the quotes
  7. Why did you have to remind us of that thread? Rememebering that always brings up a sense of........ Exactly: EXCITEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!1!!!!eleventy-billion
  8. didn't notice that pic, only read the comment.
  9. Putting a proper grille in the place of the former snow plow worked wonders.

Who comes up with these names??? I think I'd like to see... Mega Epsilon!!!!!!!!
  13. I hope this works in getting water back in there... I think this particular type of reactor is kind of old and should perhaps have been retired by now. Which brings us to the question of how costly it is to safely shut down and dismantle a nuclear power plant; it's an interesting and sometimes overlooked issue whenever the nuclear power debate appears.
  14. Yes. Sadly, Opel offers those 18" wheels on the Astra in Spain but not here in Portugal. They're nice looking wheels!
  15. They'll hurt for some time, yes, but they won't sell those bonds (as China won't either), at least not in one go, as if they did dump them the level of interest rates in the US would climb so high the US economy would implode. And that would destroy their (and China's) economy. Everybody is completely tied to one another nowadays.
  16. There's a place called "$h!tier"???

    When GM grows some balls?
  18. I don't know if re-entering the US market is Alfa's way of recovering lost volume, even though Lancia's pairing with Chrysler, as odd and perhaps stupid as it is (the brands share no historic traits), might end up being Lancia's salvation. The 159 is still an awesome looking car/wagon, but Alfa could start by presenting its replacement: do a better car then the A4 and Alfa is back in business.
  19. It is just an opinion, and opinions are like assholes: everybody has one. The Japanese are hard working, disciplined and qualified people. They did a very good job of rebuilding their economy instead of wasting the US post-war assistance. And they will rebuild their lives and their economy after this.
  20. Not really digging those... Otherwise the interior looks fine to me; the twin curvatures are reminiscent of old Corvettes and there is some connection to both the Camaro and the Traverse.

Or... 3rd alternative... It's a Blue Devil mule!!!
  22. VW knows that Alfa is on the chopping block due to declining sales. However, I think this is just noise.

Either they're building a M3 ElCamino, or BMW engineers have found the art of having fun (themselves and of auto spy photographers) while testing mechanical components.
