  1. Lufthansa is the one of the best airlines in the world... definately in the top three I think most people who have flown them can agree abut that. Even the Lindt Chocolate is AMAAAAZING!
  2. I kind of forgot to post that anything old thats savable does NOT stick around.... which is what makes the place cool. They do make sure to part out and restore as much as humaly possible. The same day I took these photos they had a 1957 Ford there that is about 60% restored. The time before that they were making one decent restoration out of a 1952 Mercury and a 1952 Ford or something to that effect. One was a hit hardtop wiht a bad frame the other a rusted sedan wiht a good frame & glass. Speaking of Fords my favorite Ford of all time is a 1960 Skyliner. I think most most late 50s early 60s Fords are just pale imitations of GM cars from two or three years earlier. Still I absolutely LOVE the 1960 Ford non-T-birds!
  3. I came close to crying when I saw that 1960 Phoenix... as well as the TWO 59 Buicks. So how about a parts car for XPs 1977 Cutlass Supreme? It's a Chevy, yes but look at that greenhouse.
  4. I'd love to install a duramax diesel 6.6T into my Maxima.... torque, durability, reliability, power & excdellent fuel economy.
  5. XP: another great song... one of the few that's better than the Final Countdown. ------ & right now I'm listening to: Steppenwolf - Magic Carpet Ride
  6. I think after Huyndai eats Toyota's lunch GM will be cleaning up and making REAL American cars once again... I hope to god.
  7. I say, rollin' around, settin' on doves(?) Got(?) my eye was high on shrubs, Coolin' in my Escalade, Man I'm paid, I got it made, Take me to your special place, Close your eyes show me your face, I'm gonna piss on it. =<(Chorus)>= Haters gotta hate, Lovers wanna love, I don't even want, None of the above, I want to piss on you. Yes I do, I'll piss on you, I pee on you.

  9. People are always asking me what I am other than Slovakian.... Unlike most peple here in the USA I only know that all of my ancestors as far back as any of my living relatives know or can tell were born in Slovakia. If anything my dad's family is more German looking and my mom's family is more Eastern European. If people insist on a second nationality I say German since it's plausable for any side of my family. BTW: Thanks for including Slovakian in the list.
  10. Of course it's the Enclave, what else would it be... look at the sheetmetal and think abotu what other concept was unveiled at the same time as the Camaro...
  11. No satelite radio... who cares?! No tilt wheel? No fold down rear seats? They need 3.8 liters to make 242? "SHE: A premium offering with a premium price tag to match". Minivan & Permium just don't seem to mesh for me... it's kind of an oxymoron. Sorry just reacting to this seeing as how even Huyndai get's a free pass where GM does not.
  12. This Cadillac motor displaced 7.4 liters, it featured two carburators and was considered to be one of the most presigeous engines of it's era, even though a competitor's DOHC engine had much more power esp. wiht the optional supercharger. What motor am I talking about? HINT: it was later redesigned & downsized to 7.1 liters.
  13. One of the weirdest Album covers of all time.

  15. Unless it's a high-compresion inline six no car that big & heavy should be powered by a 2.7 liter engine. I'd rather just buy a cheaper car that's got a better power to weight ratio but then again the big three do not give us too many choices for afforbable RWD sedans. Esp. GM. :anrgy:
  16. The Black Z06 would do well... the MC just does not work somehow. Hasslehoff is cool, dorky but 1980s cool.
  17. Sounds like a bunch of new car names.
  18. We've been lucky recently... most of them have been decent. Actaully the one person who still owes us money form 2004 Taxes is an old friend who up and dissapeared. He actually did some work on my 68 Camaro back in ghe day.... installed the temp/volt/oil press gauges & did some other basic stuff.
  19. I'm not certain about this but I'm pretty sure that real wood is not common these days... real wood splinters in an acident where the dashboard or firewall is compromised. I'm not sure about you but I'm all set with wood splinters in my neck or chest if some turd cuts me off and I get in an accident.
  20. I guess it's all relative. I'd say Deep Purple is more "metal" than 65% of that list, but then again I'm European by birth and so my definition is a bit skewed. And I agree... Orion is a sick song.
  21. Fear Factor
  22. Europe "The Final Countdown" I'm serious.
  23. BUMP: C'mon, the GM car won. Is no one going to coment on this awsome article? I was thrilled to see a 1st gen. Max but the Oldsmobile did damn well, esp. wiht the Olds 350 diesel's reputation.
  24. I would have loved a Dakota with a 318 for my vehicle at 17y.o. I had a 1994 Pontiac Sunbird 2.0 LE 2dr. Refrigerator white wiht the red trim. My first car was SUPPOSED to be a 1985 Olds Cutlass Supreme 2dr, t.t. blue wiht the Buick 3800 but fomr some reason my dad decided to junk it just because of a few SUPER minor issues and get an almost newer car for my Mom & I. To this day I'm saddened about that poor G-body heading off to the junkyard.
