Makes the Aveo look like a pile of $#it. We need this in the USA and NOW give it to Pontiac and call it the Firefly. The Aveo looks dated & cheap next to the Yaris.

What a nutcase... good thread. I love creepy stuff.

Blasphemy! It's not a Nomad unless it's a 3door. This is a 5 door hence it's a Caprice Wagon or if you want to get fancy... call it a Biscayne or even Brookwood. As far as the styling I like it but it needs a more upscale and distinct fascia. This nose looks like a cheapened Camaro concept.

The Charger's nose looks horrible in white, in black it looks bad ass. Hence I like the classic B&W scheeme.

Happy Birthday buddy! Go rent a Prius, get the 100% insurance coverage & push it off a cliff when no one is looking, get it all on tape though.

Wow... very good, Beautiful. -------------- Blathazar: I agree, many of the cars have been man-handled and bounced around they were boulders, but still if you had a conversation with the people there you would understad better. They told us unless a car breaks in half and has fist size rot holes in every panel with no trim, no motor, no glass & no frame left they NEVER crush the old stuff. Although a few near restorable Citroens dissapeard recently. Like I meantioned before, N.E. winters eat a car alive like you would'nt beleive. It's like some kind of rust termites eat the cars form the inside out. The cars that are beat up and mashed are there only as art not as parts cars. The reason that 1961 Fleetwood is not out back is that it has some potential to be restored. I'm not trying to be argumenative, I agree with you but keep in mind in our neck of tyhe woods this is as good as junkyards get. I've seen a 1968 Firebird convertible is ABSOLUTELY restorabe condition wiht all glass and half an interior end up a pedestal for a 3rd gen. Camaro for about 3 months before being crushed wiht it's 326, rear end, trans, subframe & glass. Now that's SAD!

Okay... so your solution is to keep the SBC but put a rocket logo on the valvecover? I absolutely despise that mentality. Who are you going to fool? This just reminds me of the morons who put Ford badged valvecovers on a 327, 350, 383 stroker or whatever Chevy motor becuase the engine resides between the fenders (or lack there of) of a 1930s Ford or Mercury or Dodge... So you threw out the flathead a decade ago and installed a SBC out of a totalled C/K Blazer... that's fine. Now have the balls to own up to the true manufacturer of your powerplant. Don't be a posuer and put an Olds logo on a Chevy valvecover? -
Agreed. I think the ION sedan in ugly inside and out. The QuadCoupe is kind of neat on the exterior but Id still go for a Cobalt coupe. Except with the baby... I might test drive both and see if I might benefot from the suicide doors, those are neat.

Have your dealer swap one in... it's not hard, and very commonplace these days, but if it was me I'd take the opportunity to order one exactly to my specifications.

Dear Honda: Can you please install Odyssey wiring harnesses into every Element & Ridgeline you make? You know that way you can be sure the life cycle of the car will be shortened and the plastic panels will be "recycled" in a quick manner. Also please stop selling cars that have Temper Tantrums. Thank You -Silvester Hondasux P.S. Cab Forward went out of style eight years ago, perhaps you didn't get the memo.

Let's plan on both... next time I have cabin fever and I want to go for a ride I'll try to go down there and take a photo for GMTruckGuy74, you do the same next time you're by there. -
Yes it's a Datsun... but look to each side! This one breaks my heart. I'm having chest pain just looking at it. Another very cool unmistakable Pontiac, actually TWO of them. These 1960 "Wide Track" Pontiacs are absolutely stunning cars... both of these would at first glance SEEM to be worth saving but rust has rendered them unmovable. At least they are given a respectfull place to rest and die, slowly... with their dignity intact. Not in some freekin' crusher only to be recycled into a godawfil Camry. THAT is far worse than just sitting in one of the coolest outdoor car museums. In the coming months I will post more of the gems and treasures hidden beneath the pine trees of this New England Holy Ground. I might dig up some more old pics from this past winter too.

That Sixty1 Fleetwood is a beauty... too bad the floors & rocker panels look like the metal termites got in and had a feast. There's a replacement windshield in the back seat and the fins are in great shape... that's all that matters to me. Ask XP about how I almost dragged that car home the 2nd time we were up there. I have a solemn vow to make that Caddy a daily driver for the Summers if I ever win the lottery. I'd make it 100% tip top mechanical shape but I'd leave the body alone... the surface rust, patina & tree sap would stay. I'd also put a magaphone inot the grille (hidden P.A. system) and around Halloween I'sd drive it around nice and slow wiht a fog machine spewing smoke form under the undercarige and freaky, goulish sounds eminating from within. Anyway... back to the fun: How about my personal favorite two Studebakers. Both there.

Okay, so now it's time for the grand finale: Everyone here on this site knows that my love for 59 Buicks has heated up to a boiling point as of the last year or so. This is due in part to staring at Balthazar's awsome Avatar for months on end. Those canted headlights are addictive. Anyway I'm trying to stick to my plan of buying a 59 Buick when I sell the Camaro and NOTHING else. However every once in a while I'm tempted soooooo bad. Quick story: A guy at this car show had struck up a conbversation with me. He had 13 classic cars and needs to get rid of a few. He brought his 1967 442 post to the show but also has a few photos of a VERY clean 1964 Oldsmobile Super 88 four door hardtop. It's all original and only has 24,ooo original miles. Some lady never took it out of her garage for a couple decades when her dad died because it was willed to her. The car is white with a blue interior, and like you guys know I'm a sucker for four door hardtops. I love 'em like big breasts & J-lo butts. So the car needs a valvejob and a some TLC because of its lengthy storage but is otherwise in fantastic shape. 24K original miles! You know what he's asking? $3000. Three measley thousand dollars. If I knew that the motor is truly okay wiht the exception of the valvejob and I had $3000 I would have bought it just based on the photos. I took a photo of a photo for $h!'s & giggles... check it out: It's skewed because of the camera angle on the photograph. But you get the point. I guess two cylinders on the right bank do not have any compression... that's why he'[s saying it's in need of a valvejob. And while we're on the topic of these gorgeous cars here's some more mid-60s Oldsmobiles wiht those super cool full length "fins". I LOVE these cars! The 63's tail lights are not as sleek but the car is still gorgeous. And this sio the last pic. I have to offer you: -

Okay, here's some more... This one is for GM1, a close up of the '55 Super 88's hood emblem & ronament. God I love these cars. More Cutlass/442s. Ask & you shall receive. The '64 you mentioned: The '63 was very cool too!!! A better one of the Olds Rocket sign... Some Misclelaneous stuff: -
Ask XP... he's got several. and here's a sig. As always if it's your style &/or you want me to change it (cause it sux or whatever) just give me the word and I'll change waht ever you specify. Welcome to Tight Whips! A-ight!
