  1. I just hope Chevy, Buick & Pontiac all get three Zetas each. Mid size 2dr: Camaro, Riviera & GTO Mid size 4dr: Malibu, Invicta/Skylark & Grand Am/Tempest Full Size 4dr: Caprice/Impala, Park Ave./Roadmaster & Bonneville
  2. I';m curious too....
  3. The J2000/Sunbird/Sunfire & Cavalier were never this lame in terms of rebadge jobs. This is pathetic!
  4. Quite possibly Fly's best post EVER!
  5. Okay... good point. But fair is fair, that makes your "Silver Teal Metallic " & "Galaxy Silver Metallic" just plain GRAY too.
  6. Economy cars trying to look classy always somehow end up looking like crap instead!

Thank You. Italian cars are fun if you're loaded. My girlfriend gives me enough drama, I don;t need any more. Owning an Italian car is for sedo-masichists & people wiht too much free time on their hands. I wouldn't be surprised if you had to special order windhield wipers & oil filters for those things. If they made a true to concept 8C then I might be wecoming thier return.
  8. No illin' everybody's chillin
  9. Yes, exactly. Nothing wrong wiht Chevy SBC power but it does take away form the charm. I did not know that they made Avanti II ragtops. I was more refering to the Mustang based ones that look horrible. The Firebird based ones were not that bad. There's a navy blue daily driver Fire-vanti in my area.
  10. Not the Avanti. About a year and a half ago a fellow member of C&G reported one of these cars for sale down in Florida, probably one of only 3 or 4 existing in the USA.
  11. Less than $3 for premium in these parts.
  12. Well, technically there's no B-pillar on the 16, but I know what you're saying. That motor is where it's at.
  13. I think the exact opposite. The original Studebaker Avantis are very cool, the later Kit-car ones are pale imitations and don't get me nearly as excited. Balthazar: How about building a 1-off replica of the 2003 Cadillac SIXTEEN concept but making it a dual cowl phaeton instead.

Whenever I try to go on there's no one around... Maybe I have B.O.
  15. Ummm... if the Solstice/Sky, Sigma Cadillacs, C6/Z06, GMT900s & Cobalt are "nothing positive" to you then you might be spending time on the wrong forum.
  16. They still make these?!?! I have not laughed that hard in like a month!
  17. Toyota is going to great lengths to shake the Camry's "boring car" image. The new Camry still has a pig nose but it IS an improvement and the ads are probably hitting their demographic like daisy cutters in Afghanistan. I'm kind of scared of what the new Camry will sell like. I guess we can all hope this new bolder Camry is too radical for most of the boring soul-less humans who usually buy them. The sad part is that I've already seen a ton of these crapboxes on the road.
  18. Q45: might get traded on a Chrysler 300C or CTS-V in a few years. Datsun: Not going anywhere, it's super rare, quirky, 5-spd & RWD. Sixty8 Camaro: Saddly I must part w/ the Camaro soon to get cash for a '59 Buick Volvo: The days are numbered. It'll be going to the Junkyard soon.
  19. The Saabaru is sweet but the Caliber is gross! The Chevette and BMW 1 series are cool just based on the fact that they're RWD, the Mazda is a good looking econobox but most of the rest of them are unappealing to me. The new Golf is growing on me, mostly due to those damn funny "Un-Pimp Your Ride" commercials. Vee-Duub is in da House!
  20. It's a recall.... at least if your 300 or Charger is recalled it is worth doing the fix, but if you're driving a Camry or Civic it sucks before and after the recall.
  21. About that... Xp says it's Sunday not Sat. I could have SWORN he said the Olds show was on SAt. the 6th but whatever. If you can come along Sunday night it would eb great. Still can NOT beleive you sold the Cobra.
  22. In a recent issue of a Classic car mag (MT Classic or Hemmings) there's mention of how a Boat tail Riviera existed because Chevy could not build a 4-passanger Corvette. It's kind of a silly comparison but it made me think of a good trivia question. What car came out in the 1950s & was produced for almost two decades, was powered by a small V8 & had a styling feature that is now most often associated with the 1963 Corvette Stingray?
  23. That's just retarded... @$$hole indeed.
  24. Cool.... I'm still hoping the Drifting craze will bring us more RWD cars from all manufacturers. A FWD car is as useless in drifting as a $h!-flavored popcicle.
  25. Looks like a hardtop... right?
