  1. Fly: No worse than this: (the car we must not speak of) Harley: I believe it was either Jehowa or Ghandi... or perhaps Jesus or Budha? I forget. :AH-HA_wink:
  2. I'm sorry I just can't stay away from this thread. I love this car so much... Anyway I just thought of 3 more points: 1. This HAS to be the coolest non-finned post-WWII 4dr ever made. 2. The sexiest hardtop of the past 36 years. Hands down! 3. How about a dual-cowl Phaeton? God it would be sweet. http://thelundgrens.us/albums/Cadillac/193...n_001.sized.jpg http://www.campbellriversales.com/vintcar1...Phaeton-fvl.JPG
  3. 1976 Chevrolet Chevette Scooter. Two passnger, fake-wood-panel sided Acid laced wet dream. As close as you could get to a 1953 Chevy Business Coupe in 1976 but still own a new car. NOS: What is the matter wiht you? Why would you post that? I'm goignt to send you the bill for all the terapy it will take to get me to forget that Sweatin' to the Oldies ever existed.
  4. Perhaps I misspoke. I usually consider cars, esp. sexy ones to be girls... but in this case perhaps the Sixteen is a guy. I mean this is pretty much the equivelant of a 17" C@ck. Shhhhh-LONG
  5. It makes the 1989 Viper concept look half assed and lame by contrast, a 2006 DTS looks downright cheesy like a package of Cheddar Combos in comparison and the proportions are 1935 all the way! A Corvette Sedan with a degree in Rocket science and a set of 36DDs!!! :metal:
  6. Felt like showing off... again.
  7. Cool. As you already know Petra anyone who admires/drives traditional American V8, BOF Land Yachts is a friend of mine. Finny how so many on this site try to paint them as uncool and lame just becasue they ride like a couch on wheels. Gotta love that 4-link coil spring suspension. The white paint and stock exterior makes your esp. inconspicuous. B)
  8. My bad... once again: Sorry. As far as the design the only change I would make would be the inclusion for the 1969-only speed lines that extend from the squared off wheel arches almost like creases in the sheetmetal. But I'm not at all surprised they were left out. When the car gets a redesign/facelift this element will surely show up and add new life to a design which will be a few years old by then. The 1967 and 1968 Camaros had standard wheel arches, these Ferrari-Testa-Rossa-Mercedes-Benx-300SL fender creases only appeared in MY1969.
  9. Don't thank me thank GM photostore. :AH-HA_wink:
  10. YD: Great thread BTW. :D Oldsmoboi: Funny you say that, the same day I did actually win a few races with my Datsun. One of them was against a 1993 Civic. He ran a 17.3 but his reaction time sucked so bad I made up for the half second he had on me. My first run was against a 2003 butter-yellow WRX and I beat him by a nose after he missed 3rd gear and coasted through the line... he ran a dismal 18.3 @ 56MPH. The best part of course was seeing the look of confusion on people's faces when I dumped the clutch at 3000rpm and the rear tires produced a small cloud of smoke. I really goosed it on one particular run and light up the tires and side-stepped the car from 1st to 2nd & into 3rd as well. My kind of Shock and awe. Several people approached me and asked WTF kind of Datsun it was. The female talking voice is always a great conversation piece in and of its own. "Key is ion the ignition" "Lights are on" "Right door open" & of course "Fuel Level is low" (no sh!t B1tch, gas is $2.29 a gallon!) :P Ocnblu: Drop the clutch at like 4000RPM and you'll see great results.
  11. Wow... you picked great cinemantography and awsome moving shots. The shots of the two CTS-Vs doing a tandem drift is mouthwatering! Good choice for music. I'm going to watch that one more time. (3rd) :)
  12. Happy Birthday BlackViper! Here's a few Fieros to set your heart on fire. Red hot mid-engined Pontiacs, sparks flying and fuel lines ablaze! :D Seriously, all the best. '
  13. He-he... yeah I'm a hockey fan too but Bruins are where it's at here in Boston. Although I used to date a girl who used to date some guy who played for the Capitals in the late 90s.... Jason something IIRC.
  14. You rock Dude! I can'tbelieve I left that one out. Automatics do annoy me in most vehicles. Unlike FWD they do not turn me off to a vehicle completely but I do wish manufacturers gave us the choice instead of telling us most of the time that we do not want a manual even if we insist we DO. BV: I hear you about the digital Camera, mine crap the bed... well my memory card anyway.
  15. This was HOT! I hope it's a sign of things to come! :D
  16. Cool dry night in October 2004, three 13.9s in a row at 100+ MPH. I was running about 15psi. in the rear tires, which were bought at the junkyard. An IROC-Z rim on one side with a BF Goodrich something or other and a Caprice Classic Steel rim on the other with an old GoodYear dry-rot special. This was with NO posi. and according to my friend Kenny who watched me do these runs (he was racing his BRAND new 2003 Z06) my right rear tire was spinning and blowing white smoke "more than halfway down the track". If my timing had been set properly, with drag radials and a limited slip the car would be in the twelves. Thirteen-nine is scary enough as is in that death trap! :P And just for laughs:
  17. I really don;t care... they could call it a Datsun for all I care just bright it here already!!! Hmmm.... actaully Datsun sounds cooler than INfiniti or Nissan anyway. :P
  18. Bright f**king red Corvette C6 being loaded onto an open car trailer in the middle of a busy city, shiny like a new penny and no car cover, no tarp, no duct tape or foam... :P

  20. One of my favorite ads from that era:
  21. 1969 Camaro: AWSOME 2006 Colorado: kind of cool 2006 Malibu: awkward I love Jim Carey but can't stand Paris Hilton
  22. He likes the 4th gen but has numerous flaws with the 5th.... somewaht strange and unexpected.
  23. Sorry... I honestly did not think this was still hush-hush. I mean once they're out they're OUT. GM is not going to bang on everyones door are they...? Pardon my stupidity. Anyway, the pice were appreciated and I love both proposals... the differances are minor but significant. I have not seen one of these split image clays in years. "The Great Camaro" has a few of these in there from when the original (1st gen) was being designed in the mid 1960s. Oh-happy day! :D
  24. NBW: Good catch, yes that is a Conti GT in the first photo. This has to be one of the most stunning and elegant concepts of all time. Easily in my personal top five coolest concept cars of all time. I bought tow white diamond pearl HotWeels SIXTEENS the other day and a third today... one to unwrap for myself, one for Sofia to play with and one to keep in the originla package. Can you imagine a production SIXTEEN sitting in some Billionares Garage.... a stunning Bugati Royale on one side and a 1932 DOHC Deusenberg Phaeton on the other.
