  1. That grille belongs on a Buick. Stuill it's better than the other recent Audi Grilles.
  2. Taurus #17? They still make that shitbox? I thought it was getting phazed out about now wiht the new 500 on sale for over a year already.
  3. Fly: sorry. you're right. BV: just like I said last time you PM'd me, I've got nothing to say to you. ---smirks--- A civic: one of 500 made. I think they bake them in a hughe oven in batches of 10,000 :P

    Buick Kappa

    Awsome idea! :)
  5. Hmmmm... interesting. Did I inspire a Google search for this the other day? :P (I brought up the tpoic of a CTS-V drifting)
  6. Yes, that's. Sad but true in the most depressing kind of way. If it were up to me I'd kill Saturn in a heartbeat... wouldn't shed a tear. The Saturn fans didnt; for Oldsmobile. <_< Sky: Chevy "Stingray" or possibly Cadillac "XCR"/"SCC" Aura: Pontiac "Grand Am" or "Tempest" or perhaps Buick Skylark. Ion Quad coupe: Pontiac Sunfire or Rageous The rest: down the shitter. In the circular file, 6 feet under...
  7. James beat me to it... BTW: nice avatar. :P
  8. To be 100% honest I'm terrible about following through on many home-improvement projects... I've got 7 cars in my driveway right now, 3 of them need minor repairs/maintenance... on of them needs a complete restoration and one other one needs work I'm doing to it even though it's not mine... (free favor for a buddy) Of course I can od moct basic home upkeeop and thensome, but I'm renting this shithole. If I was my house I might actaulyl make more of an effort. I'm already adding enough equity to this dump just by renting it. The landlord is super cheap.
  9. Wish I could buddy but I'm stuck here in Mass. KF: Sssooo, what are you doing Saturday, October 22? Since you asked, my favorite boneyard is having an "ALL YOU CAN CARRY OUT" special. For $50 you can take as much as you can pick up and carry out the gate. We're going to take the slightly damaged hood off of the burgundy '95 Riviera (aluminum: light) and load it up wiht goodies. Cadillac pasts, an extra Volvo radiator for me, whatever Riviera/Coupe Devile pasts Ross wants... what ever parts Kevin wants for his Ram p/u etc... then once we're ready to leave we throw everythingn on top of the Hood and carry out. :)
  10. I'm sure 90% of the people there are a bit on the strange/bizzare side. But it's be a lot of fun. Probably as close to some weird cosmic even like Woodstock or the Summer of Love in S.F. as you can get in 2005. Sometimes the weirdos and the crackpots are more fun ot hang out with then you'd think. I'm fascinated by UFOs but don;t necesarily believe in their existance. I believewithout a doubt that there is life beyond our slora system / or the milky way. I think it's silly to think other wise wiht the recent findings. Kind of a strange Hubris... "Were the only ones!"
  11. More and more I %#$@*& hate Nascar. It gets more lame every year... key word: STOCK car  plus ovals suck.
  12. We already have... :( Impala coupe? sure (make it a RWD hardtop please)
  13. LA: C'mon budy you think Brougham, BelAir and Chevelle are tainted and yet you LIKE Pulsar??? Are you kidding? Pulsar makes me think ugly, flimsy, underwhelming, cheap & ubber-1980s (not in a good 5.0 mustang kind of way either) I would se your point wiht Landau a little bit, I also agree wiht a few of Fly's too.. the Expresso included. Now that is damn funny. Satty: I don;t know why, I apologize if this comes out as cold but you really get on my nerve wiht your constant posts of what annoys you. Its' like Why hte hell would you constantly throw fuel on the fire (BOF, Camaro, RWD...) if it supposeldy annoys you so much? You some kind of glutton for punishment? Go have a Tranny Prostitute stomp on your nuts for a while. http://www.cheersandgears.com/public/style_emoticons//AH-HA_wink.gif
  14. NZR: so true, Just like the Camaro and Caprice.
  15. Now the firehawk is a rare bird... no pun intended, but it's amazing how many of these suckers Ive encountered over the years. I see the darn things everywhere. There must be a buttload in New England cause it seems like out of every doaen 4th gen. 'Birds I see one of them is a Hawk. There used to be a black on in Norht Andover for a while... one time while taking pics of it the guy was leaving work and we ended up chattign for a while... then 4 years later I saw that car get traded in on a Silverado while workign at Bill DeLuca Chevrolet. My buddy John was the salesman who traded the car in and sold it a few weks later. I also see a red one all the time on the highway,. probably the same one... back in HS as I've menitoned before my friend Tara dated a kid who's dad owned a Pontiac/Hyundai dealer... (no joke) they used to burnout in the HS parking lot at least once a wek , and the kid drove the car like a Japanese guy in a dritign contest... Frankly I'm surprised he never wrapped it around a telephone pole... his own car was a '72 Trans Am with a healthy 400 so the kid was not deprived when he didn't have Daddy's hawk. Just last month on the road back from our No Carolina 69 Camaro delivery we saw a 4th gen Hawk. And I saw ANOTHER one the other day when me and Ross went cruising in the Pimpin' Coupe Deville. I swear I see thee things everywhere.
  16. Reg: do not use the word "pretty" to describe that grotesque plastic/rubber cave, even if it WAS followed by the word nasty. BTW, BV: that signature big enough? (just ribbin' ya)
  17. B.V. you've got me... I agree I'm cornered in this argument since IM LOVE the 4th gen. Firebird. I guess my excuse for the '93-up FireChicken would be aerodynamice and the special lower air baffle that was designed to direct airflow to the engine and cooling system.... if those heat extractors on the hood were made functional it would actually work better.
  18. it is real IIRC it was a promo car for some breast cancer contest where a few car-clueless celebrities/artists/designers would customize* a GM ride.. there was a GAWDY pink car too.. G/P I think. Anyone else back me up on this? My memory if foggy * to use the word loosely
  19. Heart: awsome, cool idea Head: Great, more F***ing $hit to break. :P Satty: you just love being an instigator, don't you? Does a day go by when you don't bitch about annoying threads while throwing porverbial gasoline on some fire somewhere on this forum? [/semi-serious rant]
  20. Buick 38 Special Wow, how the hell have I never thought of that name. AWSOME name awsome concept, esp the NO-Bull$hit low content interior... and if it was styled like a BlackHawk.. DAMN I might even forsake a Camaro over that. Honestly, who the hell does NOT likke this car??? Sex on wheels.
  21. Every singl;e one form the late 80s on should be recalled for crappy trans. IMHO.
  22. Ummm... I see a grill on the Gand Prix... it may not be huge and locatd in the bumper but it's there... the car does not try to look like a air cooled or rera engined vehicle or an EV1. As far as the other two... I don;t have an excuse, they're Fords, ford made some bad decisions in the late 80s early 90s. Even the Five-Oh Mustang went almost grille less for a while.
  23. EDIT: mixed up a few of the images the first time around. :P Ugly & (non-ergonomic imo)shift knobs.... http://www.westcohost.com/rwimg/i.php?pid=r65-ra70 Cool, nice looking and grabbable shifters... Not ergonomic but SUPER COOL!!!
  24. I want this car... bad. HURST SSJ Read the full description. :)
  25. ... I'd lie to go to this crazy spectacle. place mouse arrow here & press left button....
