Consider Audi's plan for the A3 lineup in the U.S. There will be the A3 Sedan, S3 Sedan, A3 Cabriolet, a TDI version of the sedan, and A3 Sportback e-tron, which is the gasoline-electric hybrid. Pretty large lineup to say in the least? Well you can add another one as the company announced that the A3 Sportback TDI will becoming to the U.S. next summer at the New York Auto Show today. The A3 Sportback TDI will come with a new 2.0L TDI four-cylinder with 150 horsepower, paired with a six-speed S-Tronic dual-clutch automatic. Not surprising since North American is Land Rover's best market and New York leads the continent for sales. The TA is short for Time Attack and is built with purpose of destroying lap records on racetracks. Well today, some pictures leaked out of what is purported to be the 2014 Range Rover Sport. The new Sport looks to be a mishmash of Evoque up front and Range Rover in the back. Compared to spy shots and the teaser shot, the model shown in the picture matches up pretty close. We'll find out if this is the real deal or not later this month. After making an early debut in Nissan's super bowl commercial back in February, the 2016 Maxima has been revealed to the world at the New York Auto Show this morning. The Maxima is almost an identical clone to the Sports Sedan concept shown in Detroit last year. The front end has a similar design to the current Murano crossover with a V shape grille and boomerang-shaped headlights. Alongside the Golf SportWagen Concept, Volkswagen will also being showing off the 2015 Jetta which appears to have been ordered with a side of light refresh. The 2015 Jetta changes start with the exterior. Volkswagen swapped the front clip for a new one that has grille similar to the CC and a set of optional Xenon headlights with LEDs. The QX60 Hybrid will use a 2.5L supercharged four-cylinder mated to a 15 kW electric motor, which will be rated at a combined 250 horsepower, only 15 horsepower short of the non-hybrid QX60. Like the non-hybrid model, the hybrid will use a CVT. A lithium-ion battery pack sits underneath the third-row seat. This week, a spy photographer caught a partly uncovered Nina as it was being delivered for the show next week. At first glance, the Nina looks like to be a shrunken Karma. The front end and side profile as shown in the pictures carry a lot of cues from the larger Karma sedan. You can't miss the large, red wheels or EVer badge on the back. I just realized, the only GM press conference for NYIAS was this morning. That means we've seen all we're going to get. No Cobalt MCE, HHR SS or 9-3 MCE. I would guess you can expect a seperate debut event, maybe at the Milford Proving Grounds, for some of those 3 this summer. So the 6 production vehicles were: : LaCrosse Super, Lacrosse MCE, Lucerne Super, H2 MCE, H3 Alpha and STS MCE.

That will be changing next week as Jaguar will introduce the 2014 XJR at the New York Auto Show. The new XJR will come with a supercharged 5.0L V8 engine producing 542 horsepower. Land Rover has seen the future and has decided to show their findings in the Discovery Vision Concept, which was revealed last night in New York City. The Discovery Vision "is a vision into the future of Land Rover's new family of leisure vehicles." At the time, Jaguar said the XJR would have a 5.0L supercharged V8 engine, "bespoke chassis" and some aerodynamic work. Today, Jaguar has spilled the beans on the XJR. The plug-in hybrid concept uses a 131 HP electric motor for the front axle and a mid-mounted 1.5L turbocharged three-cylinder engine producing 223 HP for the rear. A pack of lithium-ion batteries are located in a center tunnel between the two power sources. Total power stood at 354 HP and 405 lb-ft of torque.
