Hey BK, want to be tempted?

I think he needs a vehicle that doesn't require another vehicle with a trailer in order to go from place to place. :P

Oh god...trailer...trans am....Kentucky....joke overload...

True.

But this is what he wants.

It's the car Black Knight deserves, but not the one he needs right now. So we'll send him pictures of Accord's, because he can take it. Because he's not our hero. He's C&G's mascot, hopeful that the next pile will be less of a pile than its predecessor. A Black Knight.

Someone has to counter the white Accord disease, so I thought I'd give him a gentle reminder. :smilewide:

They're Formulas, not Trans-Ams.

Why no mention of which motor is underhood on the first car? Sigh.

2nd Formula is pretty nice.

It would be fantastic if Jacket could afford his dream car, and everything that goes with it (garage, upkeep, a beater daily driver so he could play with it on the weekends), but I'm afraid, based on what he's told us, these Firebirds will have to remain just a poster on the wall in the bedroom of his mind.

His time will come, once he's established himself, if he plays his cards right. Right now though, reality continues to slap all of us in the face.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with holding on to the dream. We should support him in that dream, as some of us share it. Reliable daily transportation that requires next to no maintenance is what he needs right now, so that he can start to save money toward a really nice Firebird that he doesn't have to rely on every day.

LOVE that '73, and the convertible is sweet, too.

So long as a white Accord mentality doesn't kill the dream, it's all good.

But, that vert could serve as a DD without fear. For what it is, the price is a bargain (and less than what has already been blown on lesser beasts).

It is possible to strike a balance between the appliance and the lust wagon - you just have to choose carefully.

This one's done... and beautiful.

Exactly what I want in a few years when a few more children leave home...hmmm...glad to see these are still around and affordable.

You said it best, Camino: "The dream can't be dead if it's still in my head."

I've set my sights elsewhere for the time being, though ...

Don't worry BK our time will come...

I'm assured in that.

My auto woes will reach a full resolve by the end of the month. No playing around, no trolling, no games, etc.
