All V8 Chevys (small block and big block) are 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2. 302HO and 351W are 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8. Non-HO 302 and 289 are 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8.

eh? what's their firing order then?

whats the fireing order of a 5.3L in deactivation then to full power? (with DOD or AFM)

I think when you fire up the 5.3 it fires all 8 cylinders. There's no way a 4cyl could sound like the 5.3 sounds when you turn the key.

Intake Manifold?

Yup. Cast right into the front of the manifold near the thermostat housing.

That's what I thought. Hard to tell though on half my familys cars since the engines always get so dirty.

agreed

also in the owners manual.

Also in my car its painted on the dist. Cap. and on the Wires, The 5 minutes it takes with a paint pen saves hours of wire following and frustration.
