Ultimate Dream Car Garage: Proud To Be An American

Recommended Posts

@A Horse With No Name gave me a challenge. Here it is! For July 4 Celebrations!!!

Rules:

1. Pick a brand. Just 1 brand. A pure red blooded AMERICAN brand. Be it Ford or Chevrolet. Or Dodge.  10 cars any era, any concepts, anything from that brand.

2. No corporate sister brands are allowed.

3. These are your garage queen, museum grade show cars and/or Sunday drivers and/or daily drivers.

4. Have fun!

I really wanted to use Pontiac or Chevy, but unfortunately, they just don't have the diversity I would need to fill a 10 car collection.

Also, I'm including my DD's

I think it is Irony that for a GM forum...many  here are pretty much picking Ford...

Yeah, noticed that...I could probably come up with an all-GM list (if not limited to a single brand) and a Mopar list, but for a single brand Ford has the most that interest me...

I can easily come up with a GM or Mopar list that has models from several brands in each list, but sticking to one brand is very limiting.

I have something that should balance the thread out nicely, just have not had time to post it...

I feels your pain, but it becomes too easy to do corporate siblings. This way, ya'll thought about what it is that you actually like and need. Including myself.

In fact, Im still switching from Pontiac to Chevy to Ford, back to Pontiac then Chevy then Ford.

Id wanna do Dodge or Chrysler, but there is a problem that I run into with those two....from about the late 1970s to mid 1990s, MOPAR aint exactly high on my list....plus even today...other than a Hellcat and a 300C, not much enthusiasm.

So I thinks Ill be doing Chevy :chevy:  since Pontiac is no longer with us.

1) 1957 Chevrolet 2 door or convertible, stock numbers matching Fuelie or restomodded pro-toured Hot Rod.

OK...My Ford list...

It will be all Flathead era cars to balance out the pesky modern stuff...

1932 Ford B400 Convertible sedan, the rarest of the 1932 Ford Body styels...32 was the first year for the Flat head V8...

Street Rod...

Only i would set up the flathead in the B4oo with Tri-power...

He's a neat guy..had a bunch of interesting cars over the years..he's had a couple 1st gen Broncos, a '57 Mercury Turnpike Cruiser, a '59 Ford Skyliner, a '68 428 Torino GT, others.   Saw him last year, he and his wife are approaching 80, but still in good health..they have a black Acura MDX now.
