  1. It seems that thing happens a lot at that level of management.

  2. It isn't about what one owns. It's more in how a vehicle and brand is defended and excused of flaws.

  3. They continually confuse employment with partnership.

  4. It's a real mess. Something the UAW has always been good at is pissing and moaning about more money and benefits. Unions were good and needed back when the Big 3 and the Steel Mills were getting started and needed workers on short notice. Now they're just a bunch of greedy whiners who see that big Corps. like GM that have made good revenue and they think they "deserve" a larger piece of the pie, even though GM has been more than generous with fat profit sharing checks along with great pay and pretty good benefits.

  5. My toronado costs $100 a year to insure. ?

  6. Probably blamed everyone else for not carrying out his "vision". None of it was his fault I'm sure.

  7. Just for you I went online again and quoted compatible 2016 Malibu instead of Mazda 6. Guess what, Malibu is $30 more expensive per year than Mazda 6 But thank you very much for proving my point

  8. Just heard on FNC that GM will reinstate their UAW workers Healthcare even though they have lost a $1B now because of this UAW charade. Stories out there that some striking workers are losing their cancer meds and others have to delay surgeries because GM cut off their healthcare. So then why doesn't the UAW cover them with their fat $850k worth of coffers they filled for this strike? They'd rather use the sick employees as a pawn in their chess game...just sad.

  9. Not enough engine choices, there should be minimum 3 engine offerings. Probably has worst in class fuel economy due to the only engine being a 5.6 V8 from a 2007 Infiniti M56.

  10. Some how I DOUBT it that he will make them " faster, better and smarter." He is for sure no 6 million dollar man and VW needs a true visionary not a follower to help them move forward after Dieselgate.

  11. Never did before... I don't think these updates are enough to yank people out of their F-150s as nice as these updates are.

  12. I see as many riced out Mazda 6's as I do Impalas/Malibus/Fusions/Camrys/Legacies/Optimas/Accords(post 90's). You may not be a fanboy but "heavily leaning".

  13. This looks so much better than the silver trim looking dash which actually looks dated and cheap to me.

  14. So Mazda 6 is also a racer car? Funny how GM fanboys operate. Shelby GT350 is $60k and up car, pretty much in the same territory price wise as C7 Corvette and C7 Grand Sport has higher level of performance than Shelby.

  15. Sometimes I think the insurance biz operates on another plane. Their numbers can be puzzling.

  16. Or.... are miata drivers that reckless/poor drivers that their accident rate pushes them into Corvette territory? ?

  17. So was playing with my insurance online, getting sample quotes based on VIN numbers of the cars on sale nearby. Very interesting numbers: 2017 Shelby GT350 is $200 a year more to insure than 2018 Mustang GT, which in turn $20 more expensive to insure than 2017 Corvette Grand Sport ( biggest surprise for me) which is only $30 a year more to insure than 2019 Miata RF Club. Is Corvette so cheap to insure because only retirees are buying them and than driving them 10mph under the speed limit?

  18. Can GM just toss the UAW and replace them at this point? Union support is probably near its lowest point in years.

  19. I openly cheer anachronisms. I could only hope this picture was taken in like 1980 (I have no idea but probably in the 1940s).

  21. Leasing cars does not explode until the 1980s because subsidized leases do not become commonplace until then.
