  1. @Robert Hall I'm sorry about the loss of your dog. I know what that's like. Even though I've only had one, and for 12 years, I remember that last drive to the vet with my dog in my arms. Since they are so smart, and my dad and my brother were also in the car and surprisingly quiet, which was never the case, I think the dog understood. You will always reminisce about the good times with and funny things about your pets.

  2. It sounds to me like we -as 2 car enthusiasts- are each approaching 2 vehicles in the same way; you don't find the Eldorado properly enough stylisitically distanced from the Toronado, and I don't find the 6-series anymore stirring than a old VW rabbit. Stalemate. :)

  3. In honor of Balthazar who keeps on posting beautiful pics of beautiful cars...this forum needs a place where anybody can post any pic of any car he wishes so we can all appreciate the beauty that is the automobile.

  5. I can understand, grew up with a family of labs and they all died 1 after another roughly 9 to 12 months apart. It was a hard 5 years till they were all gone. Sounds great for the backyard. I also am working on a remodel plan for the back yard, have started to change the garden area, have another area that will go pavers with a fire pit and have been lining out the backyard with Leland Cyprus trees to make a natural tall private green belt.

  6. It’s been hard. He was 14, had him 8 years. Lost 1 senior Yorkie last July, have 2 others that are 12 and 13. As for the back yard, thinking about a semi circle of pavers extending out from the walk, with a fire pit in the center and a grille inset on one side. Short term is planting more trees along the fence line...

  7. Then Toyota should put a turbo on their 4cyl engine, like GM already has done.

  9. @Robert Hall My condolences on your loss Robert. Fur Kids are so lovable and give so much that we do not realize how much a part of the family they are till they are gone. Love em till they leave ya and then celebrate their life! What are your plans for the back deck expansion?

  11. It also means lazy GM designers not putting enough effort to distinguish their Cadillac pride and joy that is Eldorado from the rest of the gang. If a car crazy enthusiast much like myself doesnt care and isnt interested enough to tell the difference, what does that tell you about the Eldorado's styling? If a car crazy enthusiast much like myself doesnt see the minute details, how can you expect an Average Joe to see those minute details and...ultimately: How can you expect an Average Joe to care enough to buy an Eldorado in 1985 over a 1985 BMW 6 Series then BECAUSE it has minute styling differences from the other two? Cadillac losing market share to BMW in the 1980s and into the 1990s is a very real thing. And that Eldorado styling choice to look like an Oldsmobile ( a brand BELOW the Cadillac line no matter how much you think Oldsmobile is luxury, Oldsmobile is still BELOW Cadillac) is a big no no. One has to look at how the styling was done in 1969 to see why its a big no no...

  16. Who cares who rides in it. Ignore what the name represents. Appreciate the airplane. Its a 757. Its a beautiful airplane in its own right. Its got great graphics. And a hater of that name, myself included...and that hatred goes waaaaay back waaaaay before he was in any Presidential race. It goes waaaaaay before he was a TV celebrity. It actually goes back to when he made a cameo in a certain XMAS movie sequel... I never liked the guy. Always somehow knew he was a con and a fake. But I appreciate what he owns. All his private jets and helicopters past or present and the Trump Tower in NY are...truly awesome. I wish I could own some kind of high rise in New York City so I could plaster my family name on it. That is quite the accomplishment no matter what I think of the man.

  17. Searching for all kinds of Boeing 747 pics on the net, because I love this airplane, I came across this 747 Airforce One pic that I found particularly interesting. Front and center is the President's ride while in the background is his own. I think its a great picture to share with you guys.

  18. Every day... esp. in the evening and at night..my motion-sensing cameras catch them meandering through front yard, across the driveway, down the side, in the backyard. Caught this pic of a bunch of them in the yard recently..

  19. You Crazy, that Ferrari is butt ugly, nothing special there, Corvette so beats that hands down. Nothing mad here, just shocked that anyone would find it attractive. Hell that makes the butt ugly Chevrolet Pickup trucks pretty. ?

  20. Zo didn't make it..he woke me at 3 am w/ shortness of breath and pacing, then keeled over w/ what I believe was a heart attack..didn't have a chance to get dressed and try and get him to the 24 hr emergency vet. RIP, Zoie age 14. It's rough as they all age, have two more Yorkies age 12 and 13 (in seemingly good health).

  21. Waiting On my neighbor’s mom for her insurance info for smacking my car with her truck. I have the estimates ready to go, but I am getting the feeling they are getting cold feet and going to blow me off.....would rather not have to spend my own money to fix something not my fault. Part that bothers me most if she couldn’t find her husband’s insurance info....
