  1. Someone that came out several centures ago. The folks in Harry Potter that are well near immortal have nothing on our own Baltazar. He is expressing emotional frustration rather than fact. You both are correct....he has every right to be frustrated, but the Camaro, Corvette, Cadillac products, Trucks, show real effort on GM's part. Neat plastic model....love the photography.

  2. The looks have really grown on me. Were I to be in the market for a Luxury sedan, this would be on my short list for sure. Hummer tearing it up, neat video. Actual sign in NYC, the country is nuts...

  3. A nice writeup on the new CT5-V Blackwing. I still prefer the profile of the previous gen CTS but the bones and powertrain on this thing cannot be denied AND it comes standard with a manual and is the lightest to boot!. None of the German competition can currently make that claim. https://autos.yahoo.com/2022-cadillac-ct5-v-blackwing-130000292.html

  4. I certainly agree AAAAAND it worked out very well. It only added to the Tesla hype.

  5. I really don't think that's a defensible statement.

  6. I agree. Tesla and Rivian and all the EV automakers had better either build a 30K vehicle or get their lunch eaten by FORD and perhaps Toyota.

  7. And I'm sure all ten of them will very happy. I still maintain that the Cybertruck was never meant to be a $40K "pickup". It is a huge paid advertising gimmick from a company that does not use traditional advertising avenues. Just my opinion.

  8. If this was an EV-only thing, it would make sense. But to double tax those with gasoline engines seems like such BS.

  9. Well, you know; for effect!

  10. I'm sure there are more than a few rich Tesla fanboys that would buy a $1m Cybertruck. Tesla fandom is a cult, Elon can do no wrong in their eyes.

  11. Probably the only Lambo that I ever really liked, the Countach. It turned 50 years old this year and now according to a story in The Truth About Cars, seems it will come back for a modern limited run but as a 21st Century modern take on the Countach. 13. A trio of the Commercial Truck Co Model A-10 electrics showed up in Portland OR for sale. Pretty decent shape for being from 1912- must've spent decades in a structure. $5000 for all 3.

  14. I personally don't have strict brand loyalty, other than buying American-company product. I've had Fords, MoPars, but more GM than anything (and more Pontiacs than any other brand). But I believe what ocnblu is referencing is how mass homogenization may dissolve whatever brand preferences are out there now. I can see that among those buyers who have strong preferences. There ARE hardcore Ford guys, Chevy guys, bimmer owners, etc. What I don't have any grasp on is what percent of the consumer pool that may be, but I imagine it's pretty low (10%?). I've never met anyone/ seen online where someone has stayed -say- 75% or higher with only one brand.

  16. I will agree to disagree ; we are NOT "saying the same thing, differently". Perhaps I am not making my interpretation clear, because the manner in which you are describing this scenario is not what's in my mind.
