  1. About 85% of what is on this list works for me. I like all of the those desserts. Squid and octopus? Absolutely not.

  2. Because the Tesla fanboy thinks it’s just about raw numbers when comparing EVs (when it’s convenient to him, anyway). Skip the part where it has been discussed (at great length) the fact that VW is still ramping up production on their EVs, like everyone else who came into the EV game years after Tesla.

Red plastic And if you havent noticed...its ribbed... Like a Pontiac Silver plastic And... the aforementioned black plastic And...Mercedes carried that folly INTO the 1990s And what is it that I see? Could that BE a late model Mercedes SUV with black body plastic molding? Why yes it is!!! Go phoquing figure!!!

  6. Maybe you are allergic? My dad was allergic to seafood. Not fish. He was able to eat fish. He was allergic eating crustaceans. Lobster, crab and the like. Squid was questionable. He wasnt allergic to squid but he got stomach pains, like how you put it. Not all the time but eventually got fed up with the hit or miss of him getting pains or not so he quit eating squid. Yeah...deep fried...ummmmmm....calamari as @David put it. Calamari, the word, sounds like its an Italian word. Greeks call squid... calamari. I wonder if its the Roman influence on Greece that we call it calamari... LOTS of lemon... LOTS of lemon and its DEEEEEEEE-licious!!! About the lamb... Nothing special on the spices and preparation. The usual Greek thing of OLIVE OIL, salt, pepper, LEMON, GARLIC, OREGANO, cumin and rosemary. With tsatziki and everything is GREAT with the world!!! Grilled octopus. Common guys???!!! ANY meat on the FIRE is just HEAVENLY!!! Octopi included!!! Olive oil and of course...LEMON!!! In Greek speek. Like the song...everything is better with rock...Im mean lemon! Tuuuurn UP, the RAAY-DIO!!!! Now...Im not giving you guys @David @trinacriabob shyte...but Im giving you guys SHYTE!!! For the lack of love for lamb AND grilled octopus. ESPECIALLY when we are talking about grilled meat here!!!

  7. Ahhh that's it. That makes sense then. While the government manages to make so many mistakes (regardless of party affiliation) I strongly believe this was a GREAT thing they've done here. Forcing to keep manufacturing here in the US and incentivizing it, is great. I bet we would all almost guarantee none of these battery manufacturing plants would be being built here in the US had this not been a thing. They'd all import their batteries from cheap labor countries.

  8. Yes, I was surprised by the Hybrids, and I was curious about the Jeep GC 4xe, discovered the battery pack is from out of the country and so it gets only half the credit.

  9. I could handle the squid, octopus as I like calamari. Lamb is a deal breaker for me. gamey and just not a flavor of meat I enjoy. Tried too many times even the way Muslims cook it with heavy spice and lamb flavor is just not something I like. Pretty much having grown up in a family of hunters, I have tried Bear, Moose, Elk, Deer, Mountain Goat and my more wild animals as well as regular lamb and goat and it is a hard pass. I will stay with the 3 basic meats, Beef, Pork and Chicken.

  10. TBH...they (XT5/XTsux) shouldn't exist in their current form. Cadillac should've been looking at MB/BMW as competitors instead of the low hanging fruit FWD RX, MDXs of the world. This is why Buick is still around. They should've been going after entry level luxury. Cadillac dove downmarket to chase numbers and squeezed out it's own sibling brand. IMO GM should just be Chevrolet & Cadillac....Buick and GMC don't really serve a purpose but to only cater to truck guys that feel like they're too good for a Chevy.

  11. The Cadillac XT5 and XT6 need upgrades to make them more Cadillac. NO excuses, GM. As for the Nautilus, too bad it is being built in China rather than the USA. I know Buick was saved by Chinese sales. How many Lincolns are sold in China vs. North America?

  14. @David A what @trinacriabob said is pretty much spot on. The red symbolizes the blood of Christ shed on the cross. The shell (with the red 'blood') symbolizes death. The cracking of the egg symbolizes rebirth and resurrection of Christ. The boiled egg inside symbolizes life waiting to break out. Ressurection... Its a game... Tradition... Everybody chooses their egg. Then the game begins. Egg tapping to break the eggshell by tapping with another person. Pointed top with poitned top. Rounded bottom with rounded bottom. Each takes a turn. The first person taps first. Then the scond person taps. Everybody takes a turn tapping with one another. If one side is unbroken then that person gets to tap with another and when everybody has tapped at least one turn and if one person has an unbroken egg, then that person is the winner. Winner of what? It is said that this person will have good fortune through-out the year.

  15. Saturday at midnight Mayiritsa soup. Organs and intenstines of the lamb that will be raosted on a spit on Easter Sunday. And various other Greek hors d'oeuvres. Gouvetsaki which is lamb orzo and a type of tomato sauce. Spanakopita. Different types of cheeses such as kefalotyri, graviera and feta. Closest Italian cheeses to the first two would be pecorino and parmesan. Greek style potatoes in the oven. The aforemention painted red (and in modern times different other colours like blue and green and yellow...) eggs. Tsoureki (Greek sweet bread) and koulourakia (Greek Easter cookies) Easter Sunday. Lamb on a spit And everything else Greeks eat on a spit, BBQ, oven. Cow, pig, lamb, fish, Greek style fried squid, grilled octopus.... Spinaches, spanokopita and tiropita and saganaki and... You name it, we will cook it and eat it. Its a feast after all celebrating our Saviour's resurrection with (and this is the MOST important part) friends and family. The red eggs and galaktobouriko dessert and baklava and whatever other classic Greek dessert and food there is. Now...not all families cook all that. Its what is avalaible and affordable and what the guests and family eat. Not everybody eats grilled octopus so many Greek Easter feasts wont have grilled octopus as a side meal. But then again, many Greeks LOOOOOOVE grilled octopus and they most definetly will have grilled octopus. The ONLY food that is 100% a must is the lamb. Roasted on a spit. And the red eggs. Everything else is preference.

  16. You can find plenty of forums with GM and Ford quality issues too, Northstar V8 and Triton V8, enough said there. Here is the 10 year resale from Car Edge on the Lexus and Lincoln, the Lincoln after 10 years is worth $10,000 less and $9,000 less after just 5 years. And the Aviator actually has the same 45% drop in 5 years. These Lincolns are bad resale, which is why people buy a Lexus, because when they go to sell it in 5-10 years, it is worth way more money.

  17. Went and saw Bruce Springsteen for the 10th time in 25 years this past week..most of the band is over 70 now, but still put on a high energy show clocking in at almost 3 hours. Great music, always great live... I was distracted by all my personal drama this week, but had bought the tickets probably 8 months ago, so couldn't skip the show. Was a great evening...

  18. I'd take a Tesla over this thing. The VW Arteon looked better than this car and was allergic to sales at $40,000. This will be a sales bust in the USA, might do okay in Europe and China, but China also has EV price wars galore going on. If they did a Golf or Jetta EV (that isn't a 100 mile range compliance car) that might do well in the US since those 2 cars have had some success here. Passat, Phaeton, CC, Arteon were all sales duds back when sedans sold, and now the masses don't want sedans. The Mercedes hyper screen is ridiculous but at least it isn't tacked on top of the dash, they build it in. But I would prefer the non hyper screen cars to get wood trim or actual materials in the car, not just screens everywhere.

  19. We know they will over price it, and we know it won't sell. We already saw that story play out with the iD4 and the aforementioned Arteon. VW came out with a lower priced iD4 since launch and has the tax credit this year and did get a sales bump, but they sold 9700 in Q1 in the US vs like 100,000 Tesla Model Y. And the Model Y cut prices twice this month, so now you can get them for iD4 money, and the Model Y is faster with more range and the Model Y is bigger and roomier. When Tesla hits the 20 million units a year level, VW is going to be one of the losers, although not in the big loser list like Honda, Nissan/Renault/Mitsubishi, Mazda and Subaru. VW probably drops to like 6 million units a year in 2035, those other ones might not even be here.
