After January 1st 2025, those born 1960 and later cannot claim 100% SS to retire till the age of 68. GOP is wanting to push this to 70 with max SS at 75 or 80. So, here I am, freezing my behind off in the GTA. I'm staying up at the northwest terminus of the TTC (subway) because it's so much cheaper. It's at least 45 minutes from Union Station. No regrets. It's nice and newer up here. My seat neighbor was a married foreign lady (who isn't foreign in the GTA? LOL) and we conversed most of the way. We talked about many things. It turns out she was from Eritrea. She told me that it is possible to go there with some bureaucratic things one has to do first and that Asmara is considered safe. She said that Italian food is sort of standard ... and that it's good! So, between seeing your YouTube and talking to this lady about life and the world, I want to go. Sadly, with many Americans living longer due to better health care, it could take 3 to 4 decades to normalize what was considered Taboo for most of the 1900's. The sad part is why do people really care; they should be focused on themselves and not attempting to tell others how to live their life. Boomers seem to be very much hung up on telling others how to live, one reason I no longer speak to my own parents. My wife and I are living our best life now and are part of our kid's life as we help with the grandkids, but DO NOT tell them how to live their life's. We want to be a part of their life, but respect that as adults, they are responsible for their own decisions and actions. Sadly, too many parents I see today still seem to think that once their kids are past 26, they need to control their lives when in reality, they need to focus on themselves. I have come to realize that one's kids will want you in their life when you respect their decisions and choices. Respect is an earned thing and sadly Idiot47 and his MAGA crowd seems to think dictatorship of being told what, when and how is the way of life. This is a Failure Point, and it will not stop Humanity from moving forward. I respect what my grandfather's taught me / showed me through actions. Fight for one's freedom and our countries freedom, respect that each of us will have our own view and discuss through civil discussions so that we can come to a mutual agreement that is best for all. Once one tries to push a singular agenda on all, they have failed, and rebellion will happen. She was just madder than hell and we never did talk about what the meeting was originally scheduled for, instead she had to vent and knew I would listen without interrupting her. Long story short, she is a single mother of 3 kids, her youngest who is out of college, has yet to find a job and she admits she pampers him too much, informed her that he voted for Trump cause trump would bring all the jobs back to America for the young folks and kick out illegals to ensure they get jobs. Woman would know their place in the kitchen and supporting the kids of the family. She asked him if he understood what he just told her since at the age of 8 she has been supporting him ever since his dad walked out to go live with a younger woman. Does he understand that a Woman has been supporting him in all he does even now? She then said since you think my place is in the kitchen, you can start playing me rent and if you want to eat, then there is a food fee, cleaning fee, cooking fee, etc....... On top of this, she said do you even understand what racism is? While you were born here in America, you are Hispanic by heritage, something Trump has trashed on many times. Had to make an impromptu road trip to Louisville, KY and back this weekend for a funeral..drove down Friday evening (dry and sunny) and back yesterday (constant heavy rain up I-71`). Saw a few interesting cars out and about-- a dark colored AMG GT cabriolet and dark Aston Martin DB 12 convertible near Columbus, a couple new generation Mustangs (a bright blue Dark Horse, a bright red convertible). Louisville and Cincinnati were easy to get around, Columbus was a mess--soggy and sloggy, tons of construction and closed ramps to other freeways--couldn't get on the 270 belt line going north from the southwest on 71 so had to go all the way across the city to 270 northbound on the east side--took an hour to traverse the city (3 lanes narrowing to 1 for construction, accidents everywhere in the heavy rain). Once again, the CT6 proves itself as a great road trip car..750 miles round trip, averaging 29.5 mpg. Felt solid and secure in fast traffic in heavy rain. When I filled up Friday as I was leaving, it said my range was 525 miles. Not sure it's quite that good, but yesterday after driving about 375 miles since filling up yesterday morning I still had about 1/4 tank.

And if she might have been gay, she is not, she would want to adopt or have a semen insemination if her partner would want that. Yeah...we discuss such topics. Its not aboo.
