  1. I think i saw one of these too... maybe not carbilo though
  2. that seems low compared to all other 3.6's, but hopefully the MPG is outstanding.
  3. think it's the new VVT engine..maybe some weight lost too? slap DI on it and it should get 37 and right close to 2.4L HP... that would've been the best idea.... but, small steps i guess.
  4. there has been at least 1 great deal on a t56...<$1000 on e-bay. my bro picked it up for his Z-LT1 conversion...just depends if you're patient enough. hehe
  5. twin force? or just a 3.7 turbo? 'tis interesting
  6. some are quite funny... but overall.... it's just sad.
  7. "when" i look for a new car, this and the camaro will be quite near the top (given very little $$ constraints)
  8. happy birthday.

    So, smoking

If you want to quit, do it. I'm guessing being around your "hubby" will make it harder, but you shouldn't need to resort to peer pressure to quit at the same time. just my $.02 in this temple of yours is a "bleeding holden" statue? LOL or just your catholic upbringing coming through... I have to disagree, but that would make "public" a much nicer area to enjoy. I would rather have litterers fully prosecuted. there's litter all around doors and such at my college, only some of it is from overfilled "receptacles", and i think "security" there is useless. there was a poll on my college's website about having more restriction, i said no to most of the questions. the sad thing is, i think, there's a "smoking room" in a dorm. smoking shouldn't be illegal, it should just be shunned, but i think it mostly is. I've never smoked. I'm tall and thin, I've had 3 cases of collapsed lung for whatever reason, had big surgery on my left side. smoking would not be a good idea for me. I don't like to stay in areas that are smoky for long. and the only time i can recall a smoker being very nice about it was at a franz ferdinand concert in st louis. she asked if it would bother me, I said no, and she tried to keep from blowing it my way.
  10. on the front. lol the rear is ok. i still find the shifter placement odd, but "out of the way" for normal uses, i guess.
  11. if your idea comes true... it'll have to have quite a wide price range / appeal factor. it'd be possible though...?
  12. nice. just total guess it's close to 9K...but gets near motorcycle economy.
  13. I think the epa's site has "real data" from supposed owners, or renters.... not sure exactly the address though.
  14. so maybe a better way to test "revy-ness" would be in neutral... other wise it is it's power to weight ratio, divided by the gearing ratio, or something like that...? ... because i think the CIB v6's all have the 4-speed detriment (other than Theta)... as in, would it feel significantly different if it had a 6 speed or at least a final ratio of >3.50 , cause the 3.8s seem to have a low 3 or mid-high 2 ratio. just as a test of this idea, hypothetically put a 3.5 in a Kappa with a 5 speed. would it still be the engine, or would it be the vehicle the engine is in?
  15. ...other than the Volt...but that's being pushed as hard if not harder than Kappa was.

    2009 Buick Changes?

on buick.com i'm pretty sure they got rid of the 3.6 cxs...checked.. yep. no 3.6 cxs. just fyi
  17. hammer and sycle....?
  18. just things that need to be verified... was it run through lots and lots of gravel at moderate to high speeds... and also run out in snow/salt/wet conditions as well. if not, these owners need to own on Toyo, and beat them down some, news / letters / picket dealers....
  19. I felt the same way when you were just coolaid this and coolaid that. hehe well... there is little talk going straight back to gold... but having a gold backed competing currency is what gets a lot more talk. anyway.... no, this "crisis" would not even be talked about if the past and present collective elect did not spend this country into the debt we have...and the projected debt is something closer to 30+ trillion vs. the "9+ trillion" most everyone in the MSM quotes.
  20. rev's eagerly....or not... how are those geared? the same?... my 3.1 shifts at 40mph and my parents' "new" 04 lesabre shifts towards 55mph... just askin
  21. V.2 right? hopefully it's at least 2x as effective as v1, "beta", supposedly is.
  22. and think how much we spend on "private contractors" there too...there are more of them than there are of our military.... evidently our military sucks (not my opinion, just stating from the evidence)... we have to hire mercs to fill in for us.... black water is like a french foreign legion, but hasn't answered to anyone from the Iraq "power holders" or our "government oversight".
  23. lol what if that's the antidote to the coolaid "everyone"'s been drinking since birth? counter cool-aid if you like. ...."everything you know is wrong"-Weird Al. is "public knowledge" that hardly noone knows about so bad to bring up in conversations?
  24. could you somehow wait for an 09 'balt....? the "new" engine. same with the aveo. otherwise you allready have a truck...get the 'balt, even though it's 3K more than the aveo. idk, you test drove any of them?
  25. that under hood can't be....the cover looks more like a V6 or V8.... unless it's all a rouse. lol it looks more like an impala underhood otherwise.... cool
