i was just saying... if you were in the market for a small daily driver with "moderate" power....at what point would you say no to a stick. both 5 speeds...both 6 speeds... 5 speed stick to a 6 speed auto... just a preference of control vs ease sort of thing.

other than the power output...isn't that basically an old civic? a HS teacher i had just had to junk his 80's civic wagon and bought a new civic. I bet he's dissapointed at the MPG, but prolly likes the quietness/power/general comfort of his new one.

yeah, I know what you mean. but "all the candidates" are also from the senate... so it prolly cancels somewhat. I think it's just a general apathy/untrust of the gov't that these polls show....or typical party politics, which help noone.

i don't know about Nader, but RP wants to exit asap and safely. Gravel (now libertarian i think) has a 120day exit plan. the tax cuts...I believe those are always good, it supposedly raised more federal income from other sources, like trade/economy increase not only IRAQ but also the other ~140 countries we subsidize because of our military bases. I think i saw a report that Ecuador has passed a bill to basically kick our military out of their country. (YAY!) there are more than 3 people to vote for, if one of the others fits your ideals better...I think there is something to be said about people that vote for the least compromising person of their ideals, even if that candidate has <1% to make it. hope that makes sense. as I said above, if the "3" candidates running win the election...don't expect better change in oil prices directly because of them.

maybe even increase... possible regulations would hurt, McCain buys at least half of the Global Warming stuff... and immensly surpised if either donkey running wouldn't support the hysteria too.

it looks like a bike, but has a motor in it... plates license required (motor cycle) it is a bike, a 5 year old could ride it down a street obeying traffic laws. (real bike) yes, it's bigger, can cause injury... inspect it for brakes then who gives a $#!T. do 4 wheels constitute making it a "car".. is it the engine, is it the size, ... prolly not, just because it's on public roads is why he got the ticket....? making it have a plate makes it sound like ... it's supposed to be more than just an...oddity. it's like saying that parade floats should have plates visible, lights and a rear windshield. it just seems outrageous to me, even if it is just for the safety of the occupants that willingly jumped into the car.. [sarcasm] cause it's definitely gonna be going out in bad weather / after dark.[/sarcasm] anyway... i wonder how light the thing is, and how fast some very good bikers cold get it to go....it is a 5speed the guy said.

auto or stick? having something you don't have payments on is quite nice. if the tensioner and space as anything like our 99 GA 3.4's it takes some enginuity to pull the tensioner loose...to pull the belt off. but that car also requires taking an engine mount off to replace the belt....?

it's not really hard to fix, if you're handy with a screwdriver. it could take maybe an hour to do. just look how to do it by googling it. the slim lines are supposed to be slightly faster... were there reports that they were going to redesign it again?...can't remember.

that spark/matiz looks horrible. ....those 13" wheels? lol

what car are you thinking of replacing it with then? 09 balt? or something used? something else?

it's silly, kinda like that energy drink (fake) commercial. but doesn't talk about handling, if it would have included skid pad #s, it would've been better.
