  1. now DI that 2.4 and torque should peak right close to 300ftlbs. and to make it economy, regular recommended and it'd drop to.. 290?
  2. unless it weighed say....1500lbs or nomore than 1700lbs... could be.
  3. compared to the now mustang... yes, but what if it got the 3.7L and the rumored boss 5.4L w/ ~390 hp? then they could still use an eco boost engine if they had to as well... seems like powertrain wise it could come down to tranny options. the 'maro will still beat it performance wise and be nicer all around.... but i think they could be fairly equal to how the past ones stood up to each other.
  4. yeah... when you try to out do cool, you get crap like this. but what if it had a V8 manual rwd... then what would we be saying? not a 100% serious question.
  5. ......good lookin. ;)
  6. ion meets accord? haha... eh... only thing that kinda interests me is a 200+ hp 4 cyl, but only in what makes it that powerful and seeing a power curve for it. the "300 horsepower V-6 that incorporates the first ever SOHC use of VTEC® valvetrain actuation for both the intake and exhaust valves." ..i'd like to see a curve for that too.. and would this be kinda like the viper's VVT system, not in the capabilities, but how it's put together.
  7. not to divert the subject but... is there a difference between the fit and the jazz? there is a Jazz up the street. this car--- easy segment leader until GM gets the 1.4L turbo here / 5+ speed in the Aveo
  8. about a sky coupe... it'd be interesting to see, but it would have to be killer, cause the sky looks so good now.
  9. well... if it runs well and such otherwise... if you don't like it after the summer or what not... sell it for 1k... make a little bank off it. ?
  10. or the hybrid yukon/tahoe/silvy... this could make the engine cheaper, is the scale can handle more units needed. but the hardcore people may not buy one if it can't have the 'vette 6.2L, AFM or not. if a 4Cyl gets "mandated" why can't it just be a thoroughly updated 2.4L /turbo.... it'd be much better at the weight the camaro will prolly come in at. ..unless they have to throw in the 2gen BAS for more <2k torque or they'll just add that to the 3.6L...right? the only difference this will have from the 70's - 80's...is the "huge" power gains in the small engine world... <v6's ...oh wait, and the much better v8 diesels...same being, lack of small diesels.
  11. the lower facia is so dodge themed, and for the power it made.. nice, but of course now that power could almost be made with the 2.0L turbo ( peaks ) it would've been low production like GNX's, but would've been cool to see around... whether it was fun to drive or not.
  12. looks like it could be wheel chair accesible too. *ford corners city taxi market*...maybe
  13. isn't this set up a la 'vette? I like it... still look slik eit belongs there instead of an after thought
  14. I don't really like it, but I think it's fairly distinctive compared to the last maxima. looks much more sporty now...has an edge to it.. has much more Z in it's lines
  15. I know the USA is slowly dying cause of regulations, but why can't these awesome buicks be shown here first.
  16. when a cop gave me a seat belt vio, instead of a speeding ticket * i was coasting down a hill* it was only $10. yours would be $65!!!! damn!
  17. my dad said use the old name of Venture...if that's right
  18. that would be sad, but a 1.4L Turbo for this / aveo would be pretty sweet.... potentially.
  19. with peanut butter glaze.... 'tis amazing
  20. SWEEEEEETTTTT!!!!!
  21. maybe you're just not in the club. lol or maybe it's a west of the mississip thing you kneed to lay off the "take my hand" schkit, before you get need in the ......
  22. go to G8.. #2 in the small box
  23. loki

    LEAK!!!!

well, my dad and I tackled this problem... put new gaskets in the thing. now it seems to run rich, idle poorly and water will leak out of the muffler, not the pipe, the muffler....unless it's the pipe that goes into the muffler ( from upstream ). and... it seems to be running rich...
  24. exactly, but rail isn't subsidized nearly like highway and air. I think news and everyday citizens should know exactly what's going on when the elected to represent us are "on the job". they work for us (supposed to) so why can't we have the power to see what goes in and out of their inboxes, publicaly know what they do, who they talk to, and such.... like how a company could keep tabs on their employees
  25. very nice. aren't the only speed limits over there in bad weather and maybe some "blind areas", if you're going >120mph...? engineering cars to be more capable doing these speeds is obviously happening...but the price of gas "now a days" is pushing the spectrum of cars the other way ^- i kinda didn't want to go there, but I think it was inevitable, so i made a comment first.
