New NHTSA rule mandates Stability Control
big question....will this lower premiums and will it lower insurance across the board...maybe for the first, prolly no on the second. edit: it is a good idea, but why not legislate more alternatives for people that don't NEED and don't WANT to drive. i wish it wouldn't take legistlation to get things like this to change. "ten years down the road we will look back at the new ESC technology and wonder how we ever drove a car without it.” Secretary Peters said." i dislike statements like this.

Yes!
very nice, the brights on pic in front of the neons make it look like something from the stephen king novel...can't think of the name of it now though.

How quiet or "refined" is your engine?
a 99 3.1L with ~140K on it.... idles rough in random spurts, carrying into the lower rpm range sometimes too. my brother has an mr2 and a 240Zw/ a lt1 in it, says the same thing sometimes in my car.... "is it running?" it's pretty easy to drown out when it's idling with music on. but on a 1-10 scale i'd have to guess it's about a 7 my company's new 07 nox is quiet from the front, only hear the idle coming from the muffler from the driver's seat

Computer problems are fun...
lol.... i was pricing a "cheap"good replacement for my families pc...i was looking at the same proc. it did look tempting, but having to reinstall xp most likely , if i bought it for myself, will keep me from upgrading for a while...at least till AMD has their core duo answer out and pciXpress 2.0 is more prevelant

Computer problems are fun...
well..... lately more and more upset customers have voiced on blogs, and the like, it's usually the service they get, not the product itself.with pc prices generally getting lower...i'm not surprised more customers have been having problems, bogged down service, bad teaching for service techs... this is kinda the vibe i get from dell. i'd be more scared of getting a pc from best buy and using the geeksquad for anything than buying a dell product.

Computer problems are fun...
i guess this should've been asked in my post...lolcause if it's just the data, it sounds like it had to either torch an internal part of the HHD or he had a virus before it happened......?

Computer problems are fun...
sounds like your powersupply pooped out some extreme voltages..... some of you compents might have survived... i know on hard drives, if it's recent, you could buy the same model and remove the bottom board (on the bad one) and replace it with a new one, you might still have all that info on there. best case scenario. if that's the case you might beable to sell parts if they work and buy the new ones you need.

I SO want this car!
at 2x the price of the adjusted original sticker.... not a bad price. it would be a dream to own one, but with that few of miles on it, it should be in a museum, maybe. wonder how often the oil was changed........... something this pristene on the odometer should not be driven, i think. now if it had 10K on it .. perfect for car shows, and special outings.

Introducing.... the b'donka-dub

Chevrolet Prepared to Unveil Three Minicar Concepts Next Week in New York
it's tiny, but here says it put out 250HP and 209lbft. looks kinda s2000 ish.... just move the mirrors and do something with those fender flares, I could see something like this being popular. H s2000s do look nice IMHO, it's just what's under the hood that would keep me from owning one

2008 Mitsu Lancer GT cnet review
and why they'd complain about something around a 128kb/s mp3 conversion, but I would too. gotta have 192 average at least. the wheel gap... looks like the rear is just smaller, unless it's the shadows playing tricks.

What Should the Next G-6 Be? (Poll)
i could see it stuck on the EPII for maybe a half cycle... but sooner or later RWD at least, wether it's EPII based or ...alpha? engines... 2.4 DI ~200hp, turbo 2.0L maybe (~260HP), and the 3.6L DI ~300hp ~22K to 29K maybe sedan or coupe at least convertible could add 4K to sticker?

yours and 91z4me: funnyi really wonder what kinda power you could get from a ~2L v8, IBC for packaging reasons obviously, if it's to fit in this car and would it have to be throttle body, cause that intake runners would be TINY!??
