  1. Yes, I love the Encore, tight for me but doable as a daily commuter auto. Still not able to have someone sit behind me unless they are a very small adult or kid, but unlike other CUV's out there, the trax and encore I can actually sit in upright and comfy with head room and it would be fine for a 1-2hr drive. GM has really done an outstanding job with these auto's I am very excited and expect solid sales for the Trax just like the Encore. One thing I will have to say is that I love the dash in the Trax, I actually think it is better than the Encore. That is what I think Buick needs to do, update and improve the Encore dash. It's amazing that you fit in it and say that it would be okay as a commuter for you given your previous comments about other cars. The Trax is shorter in length than a Sonic Sedan! I agree with you that for all subcompacts I usually cannot fit in them. I believe since this car sits up taller that it gives me the headroom and ability to sit straight up. Yes my knees are rubbing the center console and door, but as I said, for a commuter to the office or running errands around town, short drives I can be in this car. Chevy really has given interior space on this much like the Buick Encore. I would hate to have to be the person trying to sit behind me, but next time I get into an Encore or a Trax, I will have someone take a picture so you all can see. I am impressed with this LT as it was very popular at the Seattle Auto Show. People really liked it as did the crowd that was around the 2015 SS. The one they had was in Red.

  3. Hot Booty!
  4. Hundreds of them on the lots for the two dealerships in the area. They cannot seem to give them away. Trash Quality of an auto.
  5. I love that added room of the ATS-L that should be here in America.
  6. Based on the one they had to look at in Seattle, These will sell like hotcakes. I actually expect them to sell out of AWD for the price point. I love the color, but based on the web site and will take this in moca brown with the Brownstone interior.
  7. Hopefully they will fix the interior space for large people. Right now the current SRX is sure short on interior space for those over 6' tall.
  8. I will take a new Bi-Fuel Cruze, nothing like petrol / CNG for the right combo.
  9. Interesting, they need to do a major change in the way they approach quality. A long time person might be the best yes man or woman but not the right fix the problem person.
  10. Current Customers expect a price increase as costs are going up.
  11. If they are a pro photographer, then their 300mm lens should be an APO lens so there is minimal distortion and this should be pretty accurate. Cadillac needs to realize that not every car needs to be blinged out with Chrome. Performance auto's are better looking monochromatic IMHO. It is not the distortion from optics but it is the illusion (compression) from physics. A telephoto lens will compress objects closer than a normal range lens would. Oh please tell me where is distortion here? Yes your right compression not distortion, course home sick now so my mind sure is not working, but thanks for posting the comparison for all of us.

  13. First impression was H'mmm nice but something is just not right. Then I figured it out. I do not like the front top grill with what looks to me to be an after thought of Chrome around the grill. It looks cheap and does not scream performance but Chromed mid tear car. I am sadly not impressed. This car should have just stayed monochromatic and if they wanted Chrome, left it to the rims, Door Handles at most.
  14. Great write up and comparison. I was surprised to see the Honda has a disconnect in the dash. It looks like they forced the passenger side to mesh up with the infotainment system and drivers world. Corolla clearly has a better dash design. Both are too small for me but interesting to see this comparison. Thanks Bill
  15. Hot Sauce
  16. Refresh the Glorified Fords and then finally release a unique line of auto's to compete. Be interesting to see if they can do it. I just hope they do NOT go with D6 this, D6 that. I already hate their current product line names. Lincoln like Cadillac has a rich history to pull from. Good Luck.
  17. I love the Bosch kit for Rotor and cap. They have lifetime warranty and seem to pay for them selves. Reasonable for the long haul.

  20. This will have a larger than expected impact as I expect more and more auto companies to be restating fuel economy numbers and we will see them all drop and this will force the auto companies to work harder to meet the fuel economy levels. Course If they would just tax on miles driven rather than fuel and fuel economy this would work just fine.
  21. Rather than put your head in the ground and hide being blind to change they should support new models of selling and still collect their sales tax and move on. Technology has continually changed the way people do things in the 21st century. Change or be left in the dust and forgotten. Sounds like most people are ready for change in that state and the politicians will feel it and see it this fall. Incumbents out, new blood in and time for term limits.
  22. WOW, They clearly are out of touch and need to further reduce pricing if they have 2013 models sitting around. I wonder how many have additional value markups on the pricing. The dodge dealer by me about a year ago had a viper in the showroom and had an additional 12K tagged onto the car. People looked but it just sat till the dealership closed down and then who knows where the car went.Dealerships are idiots to think someone would pay over MSRP for an auto.
  23. Sounds like the Tucker Torpedo all over again. I would think they would love to get rid of excessive costs and move to a better way to sell with better profits. I for one would love to be able to order direct from GM, have the auto delivered to my house and go to an approved repair place only when needed.
  24. I am surprised that GM has signed onto this as they could really change things up down the road by endorsing direct sells.
  25. I have to say this stinks of unions and status quot. We are in the 21st century and people should be able to buy how ever they want not be forced to have to deal with a dealer who may or may not really care about customer service. I feel this is a mistake and will come back to eventually bite the state once it goes through the normal legal challenges and ends up in the supreme court who I can easily see throwing out this law.
