Detroit Auto Show: 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray: Comments
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Chevrolet
One persons clutter is another persons organization. I do not have a problem with the steering wheel or dash, I like the layout and flow. The interior I think is one of their best to date.- 49 replies

Detroit Auto Show: 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA250: Comments

WOW, Talk about a Ugly Cheap looking interior and the exterior is to me an attempt to have a more Art/Science look like the ATS. The ATS looks so much better than this freakin ugly car. MB has truly lost their mojo in Design language, but people will buy it because it is an MB. All about the status war with the Joneses.- 15 replies

Detroit Auto Show: 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee: Comments

The front nose is very disappointing as it is she same old nose on the compass and they just filled in the lower section with back plastic and then added the new LED lights.- 4 replies

Detroit Auto Show: Lincoln MKC Concept: Comments
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Lincoln
While it is another Jelly Bean CUV, I will say this is the best looking one to date for the Lincoln line. I actually love the interior and am excited to see Push Button Trannies like the old chrysler we had from the 60's. Only thing that would be great would be to have the oil filter upside down in the engine bay so you could unscrew the cover and pull out the TP Roll and replace it. Those were the coolest oil filters ever along with the push button tranny. -

Who's Responsible For Setting Interior Design Guidelines?
G. David Felt replied to NDL's topic in Chevrolet
I love the single stalk of GM, Moving between all my auto's it is so easy to know where everything is and how everything works. Each their own, but I would rather have one single stalk to rule them all than two. -

Thanks Drew, The pictures are great, Love the Metallic Grey Vette. Other than the rear vents incorporated into the tail lights, I really love this car.- 49 replies

I have no problem with the quarter windows, I still have issue with the black triangles on the edge of the rear taillights. Even if these are functional rear exhaust vents, I think they could have incorporated them better into the car for the over all look rather than have it come across to me as an after thought. This is just like the 2014 Grand Jeep Cherokee. The nose is pretty much the same just a change in headlamps and you can see the same over all shap as on the compass and they just used black plastic to fill in the gaps so the new headlamps fit. After thought change for the jeep just as I feel the rear tailights on this beautiful corvette with the corner dropping triangle vents appear an after thought.

As I stated in the other thread with all the pictures of the Corvette, I love this one the most out of all generation's. My only issue is the rear taillights and their down turned corners. I really wish someone would ask GM why they wanted this sad looking Rear Taillight? What do those black triangles communicate?

I have to say this is my favorite looking corvette ever. I have never really hated any of the corvettes, but never really loved them either and while I am not a total fan of the rear tail lights with the drop down corner, this is bar far the best looking one to date.- 49 replies

Be prepared for less options as Intel moves to having the CPU, Memory and video all soldiered onto the motherboards. The plan is to have 50% of all products shipped built this way as non upgradable units world wide as they have found less than 20% of people actually upgrade their units once bought and as such can save plenty by getting rid of the brackets that allows components to be upgraded. Intel is planning by 2015 to have only 10% of systems being build-able for the do it yourself crowd .

holy crap! years have gone by on this one!! sorry about that! I was at the time, but im not anymore and I really wish I hadnt made it my name.. but I was 19 at the time and hindsight is always 20/20. I left WJA in 2010. It was a super cool company to work for from 2005-2009, but things got rocky in 2010 and I dedcided to fly the coop. Things did get better in the fall of 2010 and are much better now than they were when I left from what I hear. Its still a great airline. I just needed to advance my career opportunities in a way I couldnt by staying there.. plus our 'upgrade' in reservations systems made working at their largest airport pure hell, so it was fairly easy to say goodbye. I on the other hand have lost about 40 pounds since these pictures went up.. and Im a bit disgrased to see them! hahaa I dont remember posting them! Anyhow.. as you were, everyone! Updated Picture please

Very Interesting input, I wish there was a way to see what the actual conquest rate for diesel auto's across the board was. This would be a great amount of insight.

Windows 8 is a bit weird in comparison to what windows users have been used to using, but I will say on a touch screen laptop, tablet or computer it is pretty cool.

I found that when I hit electrical gremilins in my old 94 suburban back in 2005, I bit the bullet and replaced the electrical harness in the engine bay and that took care of it for me. I have though been thinking of replacing the electrical harness on the inside as I am getting flakey response from the electric door locks, electric windows etc. I bought the suburban new fully loaded and figure age and the moisture of seattle has just taken its time. I will say that the new engine harness was far better built than the old one it replaced.

One can tell it is a predator mouth on a Toyota re-badge boring car. Even the engines are not exciting. What a waste of engineering money. -
Ram News: 2013 Ram 3500 Now Tows Up To 30,000 Pounds
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Ram
I hear some like things rammed in! But it is amazing that our HD trucks from all 3 companies seem to be hitting mid to full size semi class loads. I really wonder if that tow capacity is needed by users of trucks this size. But the Diesel War is on and I am excited to see the quiet Superior Duramax step up it's game against those noise making Cummins and Powerstrokes. -
Detroit Auto Show: 2013 Nissan Leaf: Comments
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Infiniti
As an inner city Luxury Golf Cart, why would you need those items, it is not like people actually will be cruzing and need to put on the cruze control so they can play with their stupid Ipad. Nissan is clearly looking to reduce costs to increase sales. I doubt it will help much.
