After having read the story and watched the videos, I so totally agree with this, All people who want to be able to drive in America should have to attend this drivers school. https://www.thedrive.com/video/29582/the-roads-would-be-safer-if-everyone-went-to-skip-barber-racing-school

Watch the Ford Mustang Mach-E Unveiling Live, 9 PM Eastern: Comments
Love this write up and how they specifically tested a 6'6" tall person in the back seat that still had a couple inches of head room left unlike the tight fitting Tesla X. https://www.cnet.com/roadshow/news/ford-mustang-mach-e/ I am excited for Ford to Eat up some of Tesla's Lunch and Dinner! Love this part of the story at the above link. QUOTE: Some of the pleasure you get from driving a high-performance car is the noise it makes. A husky exhaust sound or open-element air filter can heighten the experience. Ensuring the Mach-E delivers an emotional drive, Palmer said there will be no "fake sounds." What it'll do instead is boost the noises this SUV's powertrain already makes, producing something that's "complex, multitimbral" but also authentic. The last thing they wanted to do is pump fake V8 exhaust sounds out of it. If you were worried about that, your concerns are, thankfully, unfounded.

Seem CEO Mary of GM and Ford have both confirmed updated time lines in which both companies plan to have their full Electric Pickups out by Fall 2021 at the latest. https://www.greencarreports.com/news/1126167_gm-electric-truck-due-fall-2021-aiming-for-traditional-and-lifestyle-buyers Makes me think that in winter auto show season, aka Jan to March 2020 we might see a concept EV truck, for sure by fall / winter 2020. Mary says their global modular skateboard platform will underpin the EV auto's in China and North America as GM plans a global roll out of EVs.

2019 Thanksgiving plans???
Howdy all, so I thought it might be fun to sound off and post what your plans are for this week? I will start, we have friends coming in from out of town, kids will be coming home also and local friends joining us for a comfy gathering of 12 people for a relaxing afternoon and evening of eating, drinking and socializing. Then we will have some midnight shopping as I play chauffeur in driving the wife, kids and who ever else around to get shopping done and I relax in the back 40 of the parking lot. Seems to work as one person gets inline to check out, the others go gets their stuff and then they check out and I pick them up and off to the next location. Other than that for Thursday and playing tour guide on Friday, the rest of the 4 day weekend will be working.

A good review of the movie of what is accurate and not. Over all seems the movie was very solid.

Totally agree with you on this Tesla truck. Course easy to pull up the Cut and Fold paper autos. Like this story as Nikola the Semi truck builder has plans for a regular pickup and even offered it to Tesla for free to get it out there sooner. Good Read here: https://insideevs.com/news/384084/nikola-pickup-truck-design-elon-musk/ This would have been a far better Tesla than the Cyber truck he showed up with that is very questionable. Course his ego got in the way I think.

Thank you for PROVING the point that some folks have no ability to appreciate all kinds of ART. Limited thinking makes one wonder how you function in a Multi-Cultural society of exciting change. Clearly Change is not you. Yes this is a lovely built ICE motor that elicits excitement. EV motors can do the same and have their own lovely sounds and designs. The Future is about change in ALL FORMS of Autos.

We do not know that, there is nothing that says this is a limited truck. Ford has proven that their EV truck is not limited in hauling or towing. 1.2 million pounds of trailer pulling is not limited.

Wonder if they turn on when the lid is closed so both sets work or if there is a switch to turn them off. ?

Yup, I would buy this GMC EV truck over Tesla any day.

Tesla 'Cybertruck'
Gotta laugh watching the testing here and realize that someone put the wrong glass in after they released video of the testing in the lab. Was supposed to do this. Tesla fails 1, Rivian wins 1. LOL

Tesla 'Cybertruck'
GM should take their Skate board platform and slap this concept body on it and would have a superior truck over Tesla.
