UGLY!, I see they added those vent openings like the ugly Toyota Hydrogen car has giving it a predator mouth with extra air openings or something. Very weird. Not impressed at all.

Buick News: Teased again: Buick's upcoming Encore
G. David Felt replied to Blake Noble's topic in Buick
Drew so winter tires are more expensive for the Encore than the CR-V? -
How about the Chrysler Laser or Aspen? How about the Dodge Rampage?

WOW, Talk about a knock off of Audi with just blah impression it leaves me with. Guess it will appeal to the tree huggers and ultra conservatives that cannot handle beauty.

VW News: Rumorpile: Volkswagen Plans A Premium Midsize Vehicle
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Volkswagen
Yet with the Depression in Europe and an over capacity of production, something has to give and I think VW is going to finally cut names and products as it closes un-needed capacity. That plus their terrible reliability will end up hurting them eventually. I still think VW is at their glory days now and will go down hill.- 25 replies

3000? What does that mean? 3000 issues to resolve by production control? 3000 assembly parts? I do not get it? Excited for you that it is in production.

Good Question, I would love to know as I am sure the world would also.

Good deals for people who do not mind used. only positive I can find on those auto's including the over priced over rated S Class.

So this is a Station Wagon on Steroids! First initial look made me think Brick SUV like the original Cherokee, but the more I looked at it, the more it clearly screams to me a station wagon butched up. Interesting technology, but I hate the interior and the fat center floor console that will eat up leg comfort room for us big guys. Pass on this.

They are all using the Google NAV system as a standard rather than their own in house built mess. The other Item is if memory serves me correct, they are all Rebadge jobs of existing auto's.

VW News: Rumorpile: Volkswagen Plans A Premium Midsize Vehicle

I think VW will be the next car company to have to reorg or declare bankruptcy. Too many idiot mistakes as they have grown huge with way too much Legacy manufacturing capacity and union contracts that I cannot see them being able to honor. Reminds me of the stupidity that the US auto companies have done in the past.- 25 replies

Beautiful Cars, where did you find them at? The SRX has clear hints to the first generation merged with second generation SRX. I like it better than either. The CTS Coupe seems to be a blend of cadillac with MB. I love the rear wheel wells. Front end is a bit too MB style for me in regards to the grill but the lights are nice and they need to tone down the front air damn.
-
So based on your comments then you would agree this is a FAILURE for MB. No other way to look at it other than just having a model for model sake to compete against BMW due to overblown ego's. This is how GM,Ford and Chrysler started down the road to mistaken problems in the late 70's, 80's and early 90's. Executive Ego is to be blamed for mistakes like this.

Agreed, at this price point, they should be standard and not an Option. One Request I would love to change on all MB, BMW and Audi auto's guess for all European auto's is that stupid rear fog light requirement where one rear light is twice as bright as the other. It looks bad and really does not serve a purpose except for some political hag. If you want brighter rear lights, then just require it for the whole rear not just 1 light.

VW News: Rumorpile: Volkswagen Plans A Premium Midsize Vehicle
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Volkswagen
Hello VW, You are the Chevy of Germany and NO luxury is not VW. Better to focus on quality right now and decent marketing to get a solid message and reputation than try to build a VW badge luxury auto and fail again. People perception around the world of VW must be very different than her in the US. Ask people and VW shows no where on the Luxury perception list.- 25 replies

22" LPO rims & tires - 2014 GMC Sierra SLT
G. David Felt replied to GMTruckGuy74's topic in GMC Trucks
So it is your feel of handling, which is based on personal preference, not the actual handling of the vehicle, which is based on physics and not based on personal preference. But the actual handling of the vehicle is better since I made the changes to the suburban. Less Body roll Positive steering feedback etc. -
and now we are back to electric auto's that started this industry 100 years ago.

22" LPO rims & tires - 2014 GMC Sierra SLT
G. David Felt replied to GMTruckGuy74's topic in GMC Trucks
I will say that my 94 GMC LTE that has a 3 inch lift handled so much better when I went from the stock rims / tires to the low profile tires / rim combo. Everyone find what they like and I like the lower profile tires and larger rims for better handling. -
