  1. No, I do not think so, for those that already drive full size trucks and SUV's in the absence of a Hybrid version they will get new auto's but for more and more people, I truly see a trend to go to higher mileage hybrids, alternative fuels like CNG or electric. Marketing has won in changing the minds of many that want their AWD or 4x4 but in Hybrid or alternative fuel form.
  2. With Electric Motors being very strong, Diesels are not the way to go as I once thought. Too little too late. Auto's that are driven by electric motors and have gas or CNG powered generators for long distance driving is the future.
  3. More design in the VOLT / Bolt than the Bland Tesla. The only Tesla that has some style is their CUV if they ever deliver it to market and even then it is still bland. Tesla is the Electronic version of Honda. Safe, Conservative and blahhhhhhhhhhhhh.
  4. Glad to have you join, look forward to your comments and participation.
  5. Pass, This is a very bland non inspiring auto on the outside and the inside while nice clearly is built for a small person. I see how tight the gas pedal is to the huge center stack. I wish auto companies would get over this center stack blow up to be a huge island and curve into your leg eating up valuable leg space and comfort. Nice interior but I have reservations till I sit in the car. Exterior is a bland pass. Not impressed at all.
  6. Happy B Day!!! Rock it good!
  7. Itty Bitty Bikini.
  8. WOW, THis is supercar sexy and way better than the Ehhhh NSX. I love this look.
  9. This is just like all the coupe style MB auto's with short deck lids. You should love it no matter what since they praise MB by building a coupe short deck auto.
  10. Blah, Bland, just Mehhhh when walking by. Reminds me of all the bland Nissan Cars. I think the buying public will thumb their nose at this one.
  11. Very impressive Buick. Love it all except for the coupe look. I like the more traditional sedan look.
  12. Thanks Drew, this is SOOOOOO MUCHHHHHHHH better looking than the BMW I3 or what ever BMW is calling their electric auto.
  13. WOW, Heavy look of a Ford but with even weirder areas like the headlights. Seems to be a very weird truck. Nothing original, if you want this in a better trim go check out the fords.
  14. Awesome, very nice 2.0 version. Love the dash. Just wish they had pushed for a 100 mile range plus the generator so you could have a 500 mile car.
  15. Ineresting design, I like the openness of the interior with the sky roof. I wonder if it will be able to accept a DC Quick Charge so you can get 80% in 30 min or less?
  16. Came across this story about Ferrari beating Bugatti and it is very cool to watch. Interesting is that in the quarter mile you do see that the Ferrari is a couple car lengths ahead but as they hit the finish line and keep going the bugatti closes the gap. Makes one wonder who would really win in a mile long race. https://fr.news.yahoo.com/laferrari-demolishes-bugatti-veyron-drag-race-video-135004475.html
  17. Actually they do have Home versions. Even Nissan is now selling a home DC Quick Charger 480V, 44kW max for the Nissan Leaf, stating 80% charged in 30 min. Technical Spec 480V, 3 Phase 50/60Hz 44kW power output 1yr warranty. Most of the DC Quick Charger solutions can be installed at home, mostly I think it will be the price that keeps people from doing it. Nissan DC Quick Charge unit is $15,500. The DC Quick charge units as they move to 100kW capable will then start making it truly possible to take an EV on a road trip and cover 500-600 miles in a day.
  18. I honestly understand people who will look for the cheapest and most dependable or the message that it is the most dependable thing around but Honda just has ZERO appeal to me as an auto maker. Their auto's are boring, too small and just not comfortable. They have built what I always thought would happen. Over priced throw away auto's.
